Demetrios Comodromos Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Demetrios Comodromos is admired as a top-notch role model for RPI s students. Lindsey Ellsworth-Bahe University of Nebraska, Lincoln An intense and accomplished professor, Lindsey Ellsworth-Bahe pushes her students to challenge their own ideas throughout a project. She is relatable and is an example of balancing professional experience with education, teaching her students real world applications in addition to basic design principles. Brent Freeby Calif. Polytechnic Institute, San Luis Obispo An honest and challenging professor, Brent Freeby is known for his critical feedback and tough love ways. His students praise him for his support and knowledge. He strives to see his students succeed, and pushes them to grow and learn at a high level. Anne Godfrey University of Oregon Anne Godfrey is nothing short of a visionary in the academic world of landscape architecture. Her knowledge of design, unique teaching techniques, and connections with her students have allowed her to push them to explore their potential and pursue unknown possibilities. Francisco Gomes University of Texas at Austin Francisco Gomes has a passion for construction and an equally important passion for teaching. He genuinely cares about every one of his students and always makes himself available to them, encouraging them to learn as individuals. Gomes is a gifted designer with an impressive breadth and depth of knowledge, giving him the ability to share his mastery with all levels of students. Howard Hahn Kansas State University Howard Hahn makes it a point to learn and understand everything his students may have to do in their careers, whether it s a computer program or evidence based design. This knowledge is important to the students, who know that he is willing and able to provide them with advice or information on a variety of subjects. Hahn always makes himself available to students and is a great resource, as well as a truly dedicated professor.

He has his own full-time practice, giving students invaluable knowledge based on experience, sits on numerous committees, and is an admired professor. He is supportive and nurturing, while offering guidance and insight. Greg Lynn University of California, Los Angeles Greg Lynn is a visionary; an open-minded architectural thinker who is constantly pushing the field in new directions thanks to his work in the fields of computational architecture, materiality and theory. He is also well versed in the art of communication, able to effectively articulate the potential of design. Qingyun Ma University of Southern California An innovative practicing architect and dean of USC s School of Architecture, Qinyun Ma has brought the architecture program to a heightened level. He has brought an international dimension and connection to the school, particularly with Asia. His success in both cultures is an inspiration to the students who have an international role model to look up to. Dale Murray University of Cincinnati An incredible professor adored by many of his students, Dale Murray is an educator, personally well versed designer and an advocate of design to help others throughout the world. He is admired for his knowledge of sustainable design, his passion for industrial design, and his encouragement of logical research and strong presentation skills. Brigid O Kane University of Cincinnati With much experience in the industry, Brigid O Kane stays humble about her many accomplishments while exposing her students to a broad range of insightful information about how the industry really works. She is enthusiastic about teaching and always pushes her students to do their best. Monica Ponce de Leon University of Michigan Monica Ponce de Leon is admired for her hard work in advancing University of Michigan s design program in a strong direction. She has worked to incorporate multidisciplinary design focused education and has prepared the program for the future of the profession. A wonderful educator, Ponce de Leon attracts a plethora of renowned designers and planners to enrich the education of all the students. Scott Poole University of Tennessee Scott Poole is an open-minded professor and dean with a vision. His support of faculty initiative and passion for development of pedagogy to support and engage rapid transformation of the profession is admired and respected. Bemjamin Pratt University of Wisconsin, Stout Benjamin Pratt is absolutely brilliant. He is admired by his students as a laid back professor and practicing designer with high expectations. He teaches realworld experiences and values one-on-one time with students, while encouraging them to pursue their creativity. Paola Sanguinetti University of Kansas An intelligent and articulate professor, Paola Sanguinetti possesses a particular dedication to her students. She pushes her students to reach their highest level of creativity and expand their ideas. She is not only knowledgeable and challenging, but is also fully engaged in each student s project, guiding and encouraging them to create their best. Adèle Naudé Santos Massachusetts Institute of Technology Adèle Santos is an inspirational leader who continues the seamless approach to Architecture and Urbanism at MIT. Always extremely helpful with students, she brings a variety of critics into the studios and is admired by her students for her passion and quick wit.

As a group his graduating students regularly receive as much as $2 million per year in scholarship offers to top college programs throughout the country. Stanforth has taught on the college level at Rochester Institute of Technology and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
