I. Security Brief The following safety precautions are to avoid injury and prevent damage to this product or any connection with its products and services. To avoid potential hazards, please be sure to use this product in accordance with the relevant provisions. 1. Before using the power strip, please carefully read the user manual and use in accordance with it. 2. The power supply input and output lines you chose should comply with national standards, to avoid accidental injury caused by poor quality wire. 3. When disconnect and connect cable of this product, please be sure to comply with the correct wiring order to operate! The order of connect cable is battery-load-solar cell, and the order of disconnect cable is solar cell-load- battery! 4. When the product is operating, please do not touch the power input and output lines, to guard against electric shock! 5. When the product is operating, please do not move it! 6. A large amount of energy stored in the battery, do not let battery short circuit in any case, otherwise it will cause a fire or explosion! 7. The battery can produce combustible gas, please keep away far from the sources of ignition, the battery storage is required to maintain good ventilation 8. Use insulated tools when operating, keep hands dry and stand on a dry object plane to operate. 9. Install the power strip in the place that will not get wet by rain or be submerged by flood! II. Product Introduction 2.1 Working Principle Solar photovoltaic power generation through the photoelectric effect of solar cell module (photovoltaic effect) converts solar energy into direct current and stored. Solar power supply system consists of solar cell array, solar charge & discharge controller, battery pack, DC load and so on. Solar cell array consists of solar energy battery components. If there is sunlight, solar cell array can convert solar energy into electricity through solar charge & discharge controller stored electrical energy in the battery, which named solar panels charge the battery; if there is no sunlight, the battery pack will supply electricity to load through solar charge & discharge controller. 3

Image 2.1 Block diagram of the solar power system AC-DC multifunction power strip is the control center of solar cell array, electrical facilities and battery pack. Through the adjustment and distribution of system input and output power, the AC-DC multifunction power strip can control all the solar photovoltaic systems. AC-DC multifunction power strip uses PWM charge control technology, maximum power panel tracking (MPPT) and ABM battery management technology. It not only can take full advantage of the valuable solar energy resources, but also ensure battery safe and reliable work. 2.2 Features Power strip uses industrial grade microcomputer chip control, integrating PWM charge control technology, maximum power panel tracking (MPPT) and ABM battery management technology. 12V battery system. Power strip has two 5V2A USB output interfaces to support for mobile phones and other USB devices, easier to use..power strip has two mobile phone charging methods: 1 solar charging 2. AC 220V charging. The controller has perfect protection: battery reverse connect (Not connected to the load), battery panel reverse connect protection; overcharge, over-discharge protection; overload, short circuit protection (battery capacity <100AH); load over-voltage protection; battery reverse connect discharge protection; lightning protection; battery open-circuit protection, charge over-temperature protection. Over-temperature protection: when the temperature is too high, power strip will use PWM mode to limit the charge current; if the temperature reaches a certain height, power strip will stop charging and cut off the load. Power strip also has temperature compensation function, both equalizing and float charge 4

Installation 3.1 Unpacking Inspection Open the box and take out the power strip carefully. At first, check the product nameplate to confirm 5

the model whether is consistent with the orders; the certificate, user manual and service card whether are complete; check whether the power strip has damage caused by delivery. If you find any abnormal, please contact with the company. 3.2 Overall Structure 1 DC 12V In Power Line 2 DC ON/OFF 3 DC Out + 4 PCB 1 5 AC 220V Out 6 DC Out - 7 AC ON/OFF 8 AC 220V In 9 Solar In 10 PCB 2 3.3 Wiring Procedure 1. At first, connect power strip s red clip line to the positive terminal of battery; and then connect 6

the black clip line to the negative terminal; then turn on DC ON / OFF switch, the power and battery indicator lights will long bright; if they light, you can do the second step, if they don t light, please check the battery and power strip. 2. Connect the load with DC Out + and DC Out -, this load current should <12A, otherwise power strip will has overload protection. 3. Finally, connect the positive terminal and negative terminal of solar cell module with solar panel s input terminal "+" and "-". They can not be reversed. After connected to the solar cell module, the green light flashes 3 times, the battery indicator long lights once. 4. Fix power strip in a waterproof place. 5. When you take out the cables, if system happens error that means the order is reversed. 3.4 Instructions The controller already was set up related data at the factory according to user requirements, just according to 3.3 wiring procedure to connect that can normal operation; if there is no other special requirements, you don t need to make any settings. IV. Status & Error Indication 4.1 Working Status Indicator When the LED is not light that shows the status of the controller: System Status LED Status Battery 75% Green LED On Once Battery 25% Orange LED On Once Battery <25% Red LED On Once Charging Battery Green LED flashes 3 Red LED flashes 3 times over-discharge times protection Overload/Short Orange LED flashes 3 times circuit Battery 75% Green LED On Battery 25% Orange LED On No charging Battery <25% Red LED On Battery Red LED flashes 3 times over-discharge Overload/Short Orange LED flashes 3 times 7
