Analyse Measure ABB s mathematicians create a multidimensional non-linear regression model of the measurements. Case Study: EMMA Dynamic Trim Optimizer Study of fuel savings Data for this study was automatically collected from the ship (192 m multipurpose vessel) on a high frequency. The data was measured for 6 months. The data was filtered for a subset of: Draft between 9 m and 10 m Speed range from 14 knots to 17 knots The resulting subset consisted of about 20 days of data. No other modifications during the test period The used data was based on measured draft, speed through water, shaft power and trim of the ship. February 28, 2014 Slide 28
