The Making of an English Vocabulary Game for Children by using Adobe Flash CS3 A project report Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement For completing Diploma III Programme of English Studies By Achmad Faisal Aini NIM 095311001 Jurusan Bahasa Inggris Politeknik Negeri Bandung 2012

Abstract The final project report is entitled The Making of an English Vocabularies for Children by using Adobe Flash CS3. The aim of this project is to make a game for children as an alternative way to learn English vocabulary. This report discusses the explanations and the process in making the game entitled Let s find them! This game is created since there is only limited number of games for learning English in line with the primary school curriculum. This game contained the words learnt for children from 10-13 years old. Data were collected from reading a literature study, surfing the internet, primary data, and secondary data. The theories used in the project were the theories of game, educational game, vocabulary, children, description, procedure, and persuasion. This game had been tested to 14 children aged ranging from 10 to 13. The result showed that this game could be used as an alternative way for learning English vocabulary with fun, because besides learning English vocabularies, they were also interested in learning English through this game. All of my family members, my father, my mother, and my brothers who always gave everything needed to finish the project on time. 5. Cindy Rizky B. who gave me the idea in making the educational game for learning English using Adobe Flash. Moreover, she also taught me to operate Adobe Flash CS3 and Adobe Illustrator CS3 patiently.
