Bank Muamalat System Upgrade Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) Why is Muamalat upgrading it systems? This is to enhance our system to serve customer better How long will the system upgrade take? 3 days for system upgrade. Systems that cater for financing payment will be shutdown as early on 6pm on Thursday, 12 June and for any other, the system shutdown will begin at 6pm on Friday, 13 June and end on Monday, 16 June at 9.00am Payment for financing through Self-Service Terminal and internet banking will not be accepted effective at 6pm on 12 June 2014 except payment at Branch counter. Since the bank is upgrading systems, how will this affect me as a customer? There will be a service disruption during the system upgrade and upon successful upgrade, there will also be a change on: 1. Change of Financing account numbers from 14 digits to 17 digits 2. All i-muamalat user register to new online banking system Scheduled Service Disruption From Until Affected Services 6pm, Thursday, 12 June 2014 9am, Monday, 16 June 2014 All Muamalat Financing Account (During this time customer unable to make payment through Cash Deposit Machine and I-muamalat) Muamalat Branches, Service Centres and Kiosk (Including East Coast banking branches. Off-premises and kiosk) 6pm, Friday, 13 June 2014 9am, Monday, 16 June 2014 Self Service Terminals Automated Teller Machines (ATMs and MEPS) Cash Deposit Machines (CDM) Cheque Deposit Terminal (CDT) Coin Deposit Terminal (CODM) All E-debit card transactions Online Banking ( i-muamalat) *It is advisable to plan ahead on banking transaction to ensure of having sufficient cash for use on the weekend 1

Bank Muamalat System Upgrade Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) GENERAL ENQUIRIES What if I lose my ATM / wish to block my ATM card during the service disruption? Kindly call our Contact Centre at 1300 888 787 or +603 2600 5500 if you are overseas to report the lost card and we will make the necessary arrangements. My Financing payment is due during the service disruption. Will it be impacted? If you have set up a Standing Instruction or Periodic Payment Instruction, the payment will be processed as usual during the service disruption period. If you are making payments using cash, cheques via Self-Service Terminals (ATMs, CDM or CDT) or online fund transfer, we advise you to make payment before the service disruption begins at 6 pm, 12 June 2014 Will there be any changes on operating hours of Bank Muamalat Branches? Bank Muamalat Branches nationwide will be operating as usual on 13 June 2014, Friday as well on 16 June 2014, Monday (except Terengganu and Kelantan) For East Coast Branches (Terengganu and Kelantan), all branches will be closed from 13 June 2014 until 15 June 2014, Sunday. All East Coast Branches will be back to operation on 16 June 2014 (Monday). East Coast customers are advised to perform any banking transaction at branch lately on 12 June 2014 (Thursday) If I need to make an E-Payment, can I do so during the service downtime? All Muamalat Banking system will be temporarily shutdown. Any E-Payment transaction has to be perform before 6 pm, 13 June 2014 Friday or after 9am, 16 January 2014 Monday Will it effect on usage of my ATM card for purchase of goods at a merchant such as Giant Hypermarket? All transaction using ATM card will be rejected during this period Can I use my i-muamalat to make transaction? During the service disruption, I-muamalat functionality will be temporary disabled. What will happen if I accidentally did IBG or online transfer from other banks to Bank Muamalat account during the shutdown period? All transferred amount will be process manually. 2

Bank Muamalat System Upgrade Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) I-MUAMALAT ONLINE BANKING What will happen to my I-muamalat? On 6pm, Friday, 13 June 2014, i-muamalat upgrading to a new system and it requires user to register again as a first time user. The earliest to register is on 9am, Monday, 16 June 2014. How to register? Registration Steps: i. Create Internet Banking Pin (IB Pin) at Bank Muamalat ATM (Accountholder must have ATM Card) ii. Register at www.i-muamalat.com.my to create username and password Can I use i-muamalat right after registration complete to do any online transaction such as pay bill/reload prepaid for my mobile phone/ibg transfer and etc? Yes What is the purpose of registering again? We are upgrading our online banking to provide more enhance features, facility and more user friendly system. The previous i-muamalat system will be no longer in use. This requires all i-muamalat users to re-register. Will I need to recreate my bill pay or favorite account? Yes. Can I login and view my i-muamalat from my android mobile/tablet/i-pad? Yes What type of browser should I use to login into i-muamalat? There is no restriction/limitation on browser type to use. Can 011 mobile number be use for i-muamalat registration? Yes 3

Bank Muamalat System Upgrade Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) Financing Account Number Following the upgrade, effective Friday, 13 June 2014, your existing Deposits account number will remain unchanged except for Financing accounts will be assigned new account numbers In relation to this, we wish to highlight the following: a. While your old account numbers will continue to be operational, please note that all our banking channels and Financing statements will display only the new account number on 16 June 2014 b. To look up your new account number on 16 June 2014, you may: i. Visit any Muamalat branch for assistance ii. Log on to i-muamalat (https://www.i-muamalat.com.my) iii. Call Muamalat Contact Centre at 1300 888 787 (Monday to Sunday/Public Holiday from 9am 12am) iv. Insert ATM card into CDM Machine and select Financing Payment. Your new financing account number will appear on screen. For customer with more than one financing, it is advisable to check either by calling Muamalat Contact Centre at 1300 888 787 or Visit any Muamalat branch for assistance I have standing instruction on my account. Will I need to do anything? Your old Financing account number is still valid until further notice. However, it is advisable to update your new account number with related financial institutions involving Periodical Payment Instruction (PPI) or Standing Instruction (SI) with us. Why must Bank Muamalat change my Financing Account Number? The new system require financing account number to have 17 digits instead of 14 digits Please note that for security reasons, the Bank will not send any email, call or SMS you to solicit sensitive information. Penambahbaikan Sistem Bank Muamalat Soalan Soalan Lazim (FAQ s) Mengapakah Bank Muamalat membuat penambahbaikan sistem? Ini adalah untuk meningkatkan mutu sistem kami bagi memberikan perkhidmatan yang terbaik kepada pelanggan. Berapa lamakah tempoh penambahbaikan sistem akan berlaku? 3 hari untuk penambahbaikan sistem. Sistem untuk pembayaran pembiayaan akan ditutup bermula jam 6 petang pada hari Khamis, 12 Jun dan sistem-sistem yang lain akan ditutup jam 6 petang pada hari Jumaat, 13 Jun dan akan berakhir pada hari Isnin, 16 Jun, jam 9 pagi. Pembayaran untuk pembiayaan melalui Terminal Layan Diri(SST) dan perbankan internet tidak akan diterima bermula pada 6 petang, 12 Jun 2014 kecuali pembayaran melalui kaunter Cawangan. Memandangkan bank akan menjalankan penambahbaikan sistem, apakah kesannya kepada pelanggan? Gangguan perkhidmatan akan berlaku semasa proses penambahbaikan sistem dan sejurus penambahbaikan berjaya, beberapa perubahan akan berlaku : 1. Pertukaran nombor akaun pembiayaan dari 14 digit kepada 17 digit. 2. Semua pengguna I muamalat perlu mendaftar untuk sistem baru perbankan internet. Jadual Gangguan Perkhidmatan Dari Hingga Perkhidmatan yang Terlibat 6ptg, Khamis, 12 Jun 2014 9pg, Isnin, 16 Jun 2014 Semua Akaun Pembiayaan Muamalat ( Sepanjang tempoh ini pelanggan tidak akan dapat membuat pembayaran melalui Mesin Pembayaran Tunai (CDM) dan I-Muamalat) 6ptg, Jumaat, 13 Jun 2014 9pg, Isnin, 16 Jun 2014 Cawangan-cawangan Muamalat, Pusat Perkhidmatan dan Kiosk (Termasuk cawangan Pantai Timur, luar premis dan kiosk) Terminal Perkhidmatan Sendiri (SST) Automated Teller Machines (ATMs dan MEPS) Mesin Pembayaran Tunai (CDM) Terminal Deposit Cek (CDT) Terminal Deposit Syiling (CODM) Semua Transaksi E-Debit Perbankan Internet ( i-muamalat) *Pelanggan adalah dinasihatkan membuat perancangan awal untuk transaksi bank demi memastikan pelanggan mempunyai wang tunai yang mencukupi pada hujung minggu. 1

Sila hubungi pusat panggilan di talian 1300 888 787 atau +603 2600 5500 sekiranya anda berada di luar negara dan kami akan mengambil tindakan yang sewajarnya. Tarikh pembayaran pembiayaan saya adalah pada tempoh penambahbaikan sistem berlaku. Adakah ini akan memberi kesan? Sekiranya anda membuat Arahan Tetap atau Arahan Bayaran Berkala, pembayaran akan diproses seperti biasa sepanjang tempoh penambahbaikan sistem berlaku. Sekiranya anda membuat pembayaran melalui Tunai/Cek melalui Terminal Perkhidmatan Sendiri (ATMs, CDM atau CDT) atau pemindahan dana melalui online, anda dinasihatkan untuk membuat pembayaran sebelum gangguan sistem bermula pada jam 6 petang, 12 Jun 2014. Adakah waktu beroperasi cawangan-cawangan Bank Muamalat akan turut berubah? Cawangan Bank Muamalat seluruh Malaysia akan beroperasi seperti biasa pada 13 June 2014, Jumaat dan juga pada 16 Jun 2014, Isnin (Kecuali Terengganu dan Kelantan) Untuk cawangan-cawangan Pantai Timur (Terengganu dan Kelantan), semua cawangan akan ditutup pada 13 Jun 2014, Jumaat sehingga 15 Jun 2014, Ahad. Semua cawangan Pantai Timur akan kembali beroperasi pada 16 Jun 2014, Isnin. Pelanggan di Pantai Timur dinasihatkan untuk melakukan transaksi perbankan selewat-lewatnya pada 12 June 2014, Khamis Sekiranya saya perlu membuat E-Payment, bolehkah ia dilakukan semasa sistem masih tergendala? Semua sistem perbankan Muamalat akan tegendala sementara waktu. Sebarang transaksi E- Payment perlu dilakukan sebelum 6pm, 13 June 2014 Jumaat atau selepas 9am 16 January 2014, Isnin Apa akan berlaku sekiranya tanpa disedari saya melakukan pindahan IBG atau pindahan online dari bank-bank lain ke akaun Bank Muamalat semasa tempoh sistem tergendala? Segala amaun yang dipindahkan ke Bank Muamalat akan diproses secara manual. 2

Adakah ini akan memberi kesan kepada penggunaan kad ATM untuk membeli barang di tempat seperti Giant Hypermarket? Semua transaksi menggunakan kad ATM tidak akan diterima sepanjang tempoh itu. Bolehkah saya menggunakan perbankan internet untuk membuat sebarang transaksi? Sepanjang tempoh gangguan, kemudahan perbankan internet akan tergendala sementara waktu. Apa yang akan terjadi sekiranya secara tidak sengaja melakukan IBG atau pindahan wang online dari bank-bank lain ke Bank Muamalat akaun sepanjang tempoh penambahbaikan sistem? Semua amaun yang dipindahkan akan diproses secara manual 3

Pada jam 6 petang, 13 Jun 2014, I muamalat akan di tambahbaik kepada sistem baru dan anda perlu mendaftar semula sebagai pengguna kali pertama. Pendaftaran ini di buka seawal jam 9 pagi, Isnin, 16 Jun 2014. Bagaimana cara untuk mendaftar? Langkah-langkah pendaftaran: i. Mencipta PIN perbankan internet (IB pin) di mesin ATM Bank Muamalat (Pemegang Akaun mestilah mempunyai kad ATM). ii. Mendaftar di www.i-muamalat.com.my untuk mencipta ID Pengguna dan Kata Laluan Bolehkah saya menggunakan perbankan internet sejurus selepas mendaftar untuk membuat transaksi online seperti membayar bil, tambah nilai pra bayar untuk telefon bimbit, pindahan wang antara bank dan lain-lain? Ya. Apakah tujuan pendaftaran semula? Bank menambahbaik sistem perbankan internet bagi menyediakan ciri-ciri dan kemudahan yang lebih baik dan sistem yang lebih mesra pelanggan. Sistem i-muamalat yang terdahulu tidak akan digunakan lagi. Ini memerlukan semua pengguna i-muamalat untuk mendaftar semula. Adakah saya perlu membuat pendaftaran semula untuk akaun favorite? Penambahbaikan Sistem Bank Muamalat Soalan Soalan Lazim (FAQ s) Nombor Akaun Pembiayaan Bermula Jumaat, 13 Jun 2014, nombor akaun deposit yang sedia ada tetap tidak akan berubah kecuali nombor akaun pembiayaan. Berhubung perkara di atas, disini ditekankan bahawa: a. Sementara nombor akaun lama masih lagi digunakan, semua saluran perbankan dan juga penyata kewangan hanya akan memaparkan nombor akaun yang baru pada 16 Jun 2014. b. Untuk mengetahui nombor akaun baru pada 16 Jun 2014, anda boleh : i- Pergi kemana-mana cawangan untuk mendapatkan bantuan ii- Melayari akaun i-muamalat (https://www.i-muamalat.com.my) iii- Menghubungi Pusat Panggilan di talian 1300 888 787 (Isnin hingga Ahad/ Cuti Umum dari 9 pagi-12 tengah malam) iv- Memasukkan kad ATM kedalam mesin CDM dan pilih Pembayaran pembiayaan. Nombor akaun anda yang baru akan tertera di skrin. Untuk pelanggan yang mempunyai lebih dari satu pembiayaan, adalah dinasihatkan untuk menyemak samaada menghubungi Pusat Panggilan di talian 1300 888 787 atau pergi kemana-mana cawangan untuk mendapatkan bantuan Saya mempunyai Arahan Bayaran Berkala. Adakah saya perlu melakukan sesuatu? Nombor Akauan Pembiayaan yang lama masih lagi sah digunakan sehingga dimaklumkan kelak Bagaimanapun, anda dinasihat untuk mengemaskini nombor akaun yang baru kepada institusi kewangan yang melibatkan Arahan Bayaran Berkala atau Arahan Tetap ke Bank Muamalat. Mengapakah Bank Muamalat perlu mengubah nombor akaun pembiayaan saya? Sistem yang baru memerlukan 17 digit nombor akaun pembiayaan berbanding 14 digit. Adalah dimaklumkan, atas sebab keselamatan, pihak Bank tidak menghantar sebarang email, panggilan atau SMS untuk mengesahkan sebarang informasi.
