To see your network marketing business explode, design your play book early and efficiently. Here s how I did it in 7 days! day 1 Start planning yesterday! Do this before you go to the people with your ideas. I learned to play not just to succeed but win, there's no substitute for studying. I always work with a winning spirit to know my brand from all angles, strategize and research relentlessly. Then don't just ask questions - ask the right questions! That made all the difference for me! I know it's true knowledge is not only power - but strength! My study includes not only my product, network, and market - but also who is already in the game. How can you go farther than the first guy or the next guy?? Ask the right people only what you can't find out yourself. Look for friendly competitions, and consultants. There's no room to doubt when you create to both network, and also also conquer competitors. Your biggest competitor: YOU. One final note; realize to be a REAL leader YOU have to become the 'expert' people want to go to as a mentor when they have questions. day 2 Post with power! I always post to Facebook and Twitter a MINIMUM of TWICE per day on EACH account. Make sure you create a business page. Forget trying to grow through your personal page alone. I have to tell you right now - some people will get tired of your posts, so be polite in your response, proceed with a positive attitude, and move on! Why? Those few are the exception. Post those examples including contagious optimism and results that make buyers ecstatic! I am told constantly people feed off my empowering, proactive spirit. When it comes to network marketing, Your positive attitude and positive results you share as others use your product WILL subconsciously force people to LONG to be a part your network. As you do this, consider the posts of others that enticed you, and write them down. I never share someone else's words I make them MY OWN. Remember YOU are part of what attracts clients. day 3 Plan a party to introduce yourself and your business. What made the difference for me? I realized network marketing is about more than numbers - it's about REAL people. I am never pushy and build not only partnerships, but relationships AND friendships. It WILL be a wild and exhilarating dose of motivation when you realize your products and services are life changing for people! This is true I discovered for those who buy, and those who eventually join your team as sellers. I am never pushy. Make it fun and don't worry about how many people show up! You may only sell one item. My first party was small too. But never underestimate the power of one. For me, one sell turned into five - those first five turned into 25. People will want to know you - this strong, independent and spirited entrepreneur - be you, and a part of your circle. Some people hate the idea of someone trying to sell them something, so think of your product as an experience you're offering to enhance their life instead of something customers are giving up money for. Never accept failure as an option. If someone thinks I'm crazy, so what? I think of the proof I have in my accomplishments and resolve to never allow myself to think: What if? Set a launch party date. Create a list of 30-50 people to invite. Take the time to approach them personally or through a private message. Then, follow up quickly with an invite.
day 4 Spread YOUR news! I told people about my excitement and new network marketing opportunity immediately. By practically skywriting it, 15 people joined as preferred clients...new friends. Think of this like telling your best friend you got engaged to the man of your dreams and he has a brother you want her to meet - or about a new social club they can be a part of. Remember, excitement is contagious - and they don't have to envy you they too can BE like you: just as thrilled and motivated! To sell, look for ways to bring up needs your product can meet in ANY conversation. Another go to: everybody wants to make more money! That's key to get anybody thinking about becoming a distributor when you share your success and show them theirs is right in front of them! Take your list of 50 'friends' and craft YOUR email. Hit send! Make sure you encourage questions. Include a link to how they can learn more. Do this even if your materials have not arrived. By now you know what you are selling! You did your research remember! Next, preschedule 30 more Facebook and additionally also Twitter posts to your BUSINESS page and account with the 'SHARE SHARE and INVITE others to JOIN you on this new adventure!' mantra in mind. day 5 Your new friends (a.k.a. customers) and distributors will have questions. Make sure YOU are the one to provide the answers YOU already found yourself. You're the go-to! Email every customer and seller and let them know you're there to meet their needs. Do not pester them, but regularly check in. I recommend doing this on a weekly basis for the first month, bi-weekly the next month and then at least once a month depending on their feedback. Meanwhile, remind everyone YOU have their back. I always tell my network, I, personally, am just a phone call, text, email, or Facebook message away. I try to respond within 24 hours if possible and ask: Does that answer your question? Does that information YOU learned yourself help meet their needs? If you want to be your own boss - there's no better way to success to keep driving the bus yourself. Don't give up the keys - but YOU remain the GPS. I was also able to provide the powerful knowledge because I didn't just study but thoroughly tested or used my products MYSELF. Don't wait for the clients and distributors in your network marketing business to pile up. (And they will!!) Write up drafts for your weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly check-ins. Make a list of possible Frequently Asked Questions and how you will answer them. If you can't come up with any YOU need to stop and ask yourself if you did enough
research. If you didn't have questions - you better give your study a double take. YOU rock because you're a self-starter but you need to be the go-to guru for others. Save your standard drafts as documents to your desktop or a folder so you have then ready to go. Now go to your smart phone and schedule reminders to do this on a certain day of the week. For your monthly contact, I recommend the first of each month.
day 6 You did enough research to feel like you practically wrote the book on your network marketing product right? I did and I immediately turned all my notes into a book and put it on a folder on my desktop. I knew to be successful I had to do whatever it takes and this resource turned out to be priceless and worth the effort. Guess what? In the long run this will save you valuable time you can use to bask in your success! Organize your notes and start compiling your knowledge into a concise book or manual. Make it as long or as short as it needs to be. I often look back and add things to my personal guides and resources and add to them as necessary. Set a deadline for yourself to have them done before you need to reach for it. And trust me, you will!
day 7 As soon as your materials arrive read every manual. I was so glad I did because this carried the biggest part of the momentum of my excitement, goals and dreams! I cast off every doubt or fear because I reminded myself I knew what I am doing! Staying positive is huge because any negative thoughts or worry just suck your energy. You should be feeling incredible by now! I know you're overflowing with dreams for YOUR company! So make a board and make your dreams visible. That's right, make a dream board! I wrote: 'MY DREAM' on my board and put it on the refrigerator where I could see it all the time. This will remind you daily of your future! Go NOW and buy the board making materials from a craft store and do whatever you have to to make YOUR dream with a future as your own BOSS something you can actually see! Do it today! Now take a look back at your week of action steps to success. Did you check off every homework assignment? I know for me this was the moment I knew I had arrived before the new friends, life changing network and money rolled in! YOUR party is just getting started and never has to stop!
MY BEST ADVICE TO YOU as you begin your journey... Over the past four years, I have been through it all...i've been through the ups and downs, the struggles, the exciting moments and the tough ones. I've felt overwhelmed and frustrated at times, and at other times I've felt like I was on top of the world. I know what it feels like when your check is only $87.00, but you feel like you've been working hard all month. I've been there. I started in the same place, at the bottom, just like everyone else. I want to share my journey with you in hopes that it helps you to avoid the same mistakes that I made, but more importantly, to help you reach the goals that you have set for yourself in this business. I want to see you succeed! Let me leave you with a few pointers that I want you to really focus on. If you can master these seven concepts, you will go far. 1. Treat this business like a business and it will pay you like a business. You get paid based on your effort. There really is no money ceiling if you can even wrap your brain around that. 2. Create a Facebook Business Page and start sharing. This is your first step in personal branding and online marketing. 3. Make a list of 100 contacts. Friends, family, co-workers etc. Connect with them and share the excitement of starting your new business's adventure. 4. Why did your start your own business? Figure out WHY. Be specific and get real. This is between you and...you.
5. Believe in Yourself. Network Marketing is an industry where the average person with no education and no special skill can create a life many only dream of. 6. Do not be addicted to the outcome. There will be people that do not want the product you have, they won't understand the industry and will roll their eyes at you. So what. YOU determine your success. Never let the opinions of others determine your future. 7. Get Started. Do not feel like you have to know everything about your company or the product just get started.
