FIFA WOMEN S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015 THE COMPETITION 129 Nations participate in the FIFA WOMEN S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015 Only host Canada skipped the Qualifiers, with the other 128 nations competing in 398 qualification matches from 4 April 2013 to 2 December 2014. Through the Official Draw on 6 December 2014, the 24 finalists were separated into six groups. Following the group phase, the knockout phase features the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and both the match for 3rd place and Final Match. In all, 52 matches will be played in the final competition, with matches to be played in six Canadian host cities. GENERAL INFORMATION Accessible seats Accessible tickets will be available in all stadiums with the option to purchase one adjacent companion ticket at the same price as the accessible ticket. SECURITY Entry Inspection Any advertising materials Ticket holders will have to go through security checks before entering the stadiums. Devices creating excessive noise If requested, all persons shall be required to cooperate in respect of providing evidence of identity, conducting inspections of personal belongings, confiscation of prohibited items, and/or physical checks. Prohibited items Stadium specific restricted and prohibited items and actions will be outlined closer to the competition but can include: Food and drink products, including alcoholic beverages Large bags and suitcases Large flags and banners with religious, political or offensive content 8 FIFA Women s World Cup Canada 2015 Cameras, photography and recording devices Except as provided herein or as expressly permitted by FIFA (for example, by way of accreditation) Ticket holders are PROHIBITED from recording, transmitting, or in any other manner disseminating over any media any image, sound, text or description or result of any match. Ticket holders may undertake those activities for personal, non-commercial use, but must not allow such activities to be commercially exploited by any entity without the prior written approval of FIFA. Children Children two years and under at competition time (June/July 2015) do not require their own ticket for entry but must sit in a guardian s lap and not take up an additional seat of their own. Children older than two years must have a ticket for entry. Concessions Food and drink products, including alcoholic beverages, can not be brought in the stadium. However, there are multiple options of food and beverage concessions inside the stadium. Doubleheaders Doubleheader match days will have one ticket for both matches tickets cannot be shared on the same match day. Fans from outside Canada You must have a valid visa for entry into Canada before you purchase your ticket visa entries for spectators into Canada will not be offered or supported by the National Organizing Committee. Match delays/ postponed Please note that tickets to delayed or postponed matches are valid and are not exchangeable or refundable. These tickets should be used at the rescheduled date and time. If a match is cancelled, the ticket purchaser will be eligible for a refund. Merchandise It will be possible to buy FIFA branded merchandize in each stadium. Spectators can also buy merchandise from FIFA online store at store.fifa.com. No re-entry There is no re-entry. If you exit a stadium after a match has begun, you cannot re-enter with a used ticket. No Smoking Policy All FIFA Women World Cup Canada 2015 Stadiums are non smoking for all match days. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the stadium including in the seating bowl and public concourse areas. If you encounter a person in the stadium that is smoking, please refer this matter to a steward or security officer. Resale Neither the ticket purchaser nor those accompanying them may resell or otherwise transfer tickets.
