GO CAR FINANCE ON ROAD PROGRAMME Our On Road Programme is designed to keep your vehicle regularly maintained and legally on the road.
Keeping you on the road Keeping your vehicle in tip-top condition is a big priority, and to make that as hassle free as possible, Go Car Finance offers membership of its On Road Programme. It incorporates two important elements: Service Plan ensures your vehicle is regularly serviced and kept in the best possible condition. Licence Plan takes care of the legal requirements of owning a vehicle. Our unique partnership with the New Zealand Automobile Association (NZAA) is the icing on the cake. As a trusted New Zealand organisation, the New Zealand Automobile Association Inc is highly regarded for its ability to provide independent, top-class service to its clients. Your vehicle s servicing will be carried out by a Go Car Finance approved service centre or approved AA Motoring site for the duration of your loan. The repairer will also be happy to quote for any repair work that might be required at any time over the loan period. SERVICE PLAN Your Go Car Finance Service Plan membership entitles you to six monthly servicing of your vehicle at a Go Car Finance approved service centre or AA Motoring site, ensuring your car is regularly maintained and kept in good mechanical condition.
What s included? Your Service Plan includes: one Bronze Service (starting six months after your loan has commenced) one Silver Service (six months later) and so on, for the life of your loan. When your vehicle is due for a service, our Fleet Specialist team will give you a call to arrange an appointment with your nearest approved service centre (Go Car Finance approved service centre, AA Motoring Auto Centre, Auto Service & Repair or AA Licensed Repairer). Details about what is included in each type of service can be found on page 8. Go Car Finance Service Plan membership fees are included in your loan as part of your normal weekly instalments. Remember, that in order to receive the benefits of your Go Car Finance Service Plan membership, your membership payments must to be up to date. 4
LICENCE PLAN Membership of the Go Car Finance Licence Plan means your car will be kept legally on the road at all times. It includes vehicle registration and Warrant of Fitness checks for the life of your loan.
Vehicle registration To comply with New Zealand laws, your vehicle must be registered with the Land Transport Authority at all times. Your membership includes a Vehicle Registration Certificate for the life of your loan. This is generally issued every six months. Our Fleet Specialist team will let you know when your registration is due and a new certificate can then be posted to you or collected from our Head Office in Auckland. Copies can also be obtained from your local Post Shop for a small fee. Your Warrant of Fitness (WOF) must be current (see below) before your registration can be issued. It is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is road worthy at all times. WOF checks WOF checks are required every 12 months for vehicle models registered after January 2000 (or six monthly if older). A member of our Fleet Specialist team will contact you before your WOF is due to help arrange a WOF check appointment at an approved service centre (Go Car Finance approved service centre, AA Motoring Auto Centre, Auto Service & Repair or AA Licensed Repairer). If any repair work is required to obtain your WOF, the repairer can provide you with a quote and carry out this work on your behalf. Your Go Car Finance membership fees cover the cost of all WOF inspections for the life of your loan, which are included in your normal weekly instalments. All WOF repairs for your vehicle are your responsibility and must be settled directly with the service provider. In order to receive the benefits of your Licence Plan membership, your membership payments must be up to date. 6

TERMS AND CONDITIONS By signing your loan contract and agreeing to join the Go Car Finance On Road Programme you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined below: If membership fees aren t paid, the membership benefits associated with the membership will be suspended until the membership fees are brought up to date or Go Car Finance advises that satisfactory arrangements for payment of the arrears amount have been made (such satisfaction shall be at the sole discretion of Go Car Finance). The work on the vehicle will be carried out at a Go Car Finance approved service centre. It is your responsibility to present the car there at an arranged time. Refer to www.gocar.co.nz for the latest details. Under no circumstances will any membership fees charged be refunded. Go Car Finance charges an administration charge on top of any third party invoice to cover the cost of processing to recover costs. You are able to cancel your membership of the Go Car Finance On Road licence or service plan at any time by giving one month s written notice. However any membership fees charged up to the point of cancellation are non-refundable. If you cancel your membership of the On Road Licence and/or Service Plan, the loan payments will not change, instead you will pay your loan off quicker. Due to future external economic and regulatory changes, Go Car Finance reserves the right to alter the membership fee and benefits, and will notify you in writing one month before any changes are made. Go Car Finance clients are responsible for any repairs required on the vehicle in order to obtain the WOF. The Go Car Finance Service Plan does not include any ongoing repair work or maintenance other than the service costs as detailed in this document. Replacement of cambelts are specifically excluded. This agreement is separate to any warranty which you have taken out under your Loan Agreement or otherwise. You authorise Go Car Finance to debit your loan account with the membership fees as they become due. These are included in your regular instalments. You will ensure your vehicle has fully comprehensive insurance cover for the life of your loan. The vehicle servicing arrangement with AA Motoring is only for vehicle servicing and not for other AA products or services. AA Bronze and Silver servicing contents are subject to change. Servicing is to be conducted only at participating AA Motoring sites or Go Car Finance approved sites which are MTA members. If your loan account is in arrears, the arrears are offset against the Licence and/or Service Plan membership fees which are treated as being unpaid.
