South Georgia State College serves over 2,500 students from 109 Georgia counties, 389 high schools, 28 states, and 10 other countries on campuses in Douglas and Waycross and through entry programs with Georgia Southwestern State University and Valdosta State University. Dual enrollment programs are also available through area high schools. SGSC currently offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing along with associate degrees in over 20 programs of study. Admissions...We are here to help you. EASY STEPS TO GET STARTED 1. Submit your enrollment application accompanied by a $20 application fee. 2. Submit official copies of high school transcripts or GED scores. 3. Submit your immunization form completed by a healthcare provider. 4. Take the COMPASS entrance tests. SAT or ACT scores are not required but may be submitted for exemption of parts of the COMPASS test. 5. Submit official transcripts from any college(s) attended. 6. Complete the FASFA application to determine if you are eligible for financial aid or scholarships. Remember to check submission deadlines. Please visit www.sgsc.edu for more information. There is nothing better than being part of the Hawk Nation. Amir Munaji SGSC swimmer Hometown: Atlanta, GA Major: Biology Soar with the Hawks. South Georgia State college has won over a dozen titles in athletics through the years. Most recently, the men s and women s swim teams won the Region 17 Championship and placed third in the national competition. As a member of the NJCAA and GCAA, our athletic teams currently compete in baseball, basketball, softball, women s soccer, swimming, and cross country. SGSC s Douglas Campus has an impressive athletic complex, complete with a heated indoor junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, indoor batting cage, and dedicated fields for softball and baseball. The Wellness Center on the Douglas Campus has a gymnasium, weight room, training room and classrooms. The Waycross Campus gymnasium is home to the basketball Hawks and offers a weight room for students. All facilities are easily accessible to students and are designed to benefit both students and student-athletes. All facilities are free and open for use by students during designated times.
