Registering for and Accessing the Provider Online Reporting Application Updated August 2015
Provider Online Reporting Overview Provider Cost Transparency reports and information are available through Provider Online Reporting can be accessed via the Availity Web Portal. Visit www.availity.com to register or log in. Availity is one of the leading health information networks in the country, optimizing information exchange between multiple health care stakeholders through a single, secure network. Availity's Web Portal allows providers to access real-time eligibility, benefits, claims status information and much more through one secure Web portal and gives providers the tools they need to drive measurable and meaningful organizational improvements, and enjoy the vitality of a healthy business. 2
Pop-up Blocker Blocks Availity and Third-party Pop-ups Pop-ups accessed from the Availity Web Portal, such as Availity Help topics and third-party websites, might not open if you have a pop-up blocker activated. Popup blockers can be part of your browser or a separate application such as a thirdparty browser toolbar or anti-spyware software. Note: The following instructions are for Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher and Firefox, which are the only browsers Availity supports. If you use a separate application other than your browser to control pop-ups, refer to that application's user documentation for assistance. Internet Explorer: Click Tools Pop-up Blocker Pop-up Blocker Settings in the Internet Explorer menu bar In the Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box, type the addresses listed under Allowed Websites (next slide), one at a time, in the Address of website to allow field, clicking Add after each address. Click Close. 3
Pop-up Blocker Blocks Availity and Third-party Pop-ups Firefox Click Tools Options in the Firefox menu bar. Click Content at the top of the Options dialog box, and then click Exceptions. Note: The Exceptions button is available only if the Block pop-up windows check box is selected. If this check box is cleared, go to step 3. In the Allowed Sites - Pop-ups dialog box, type the addresses listed below under Allowed Websites, one at a time, in the Address of website field, clicking Allow after each address. Click Close in the Allowed Sites - Pop-ups dialog box, and then click OK in the Options dialog box. Allowed Websites Your pop-up blocker should be configured to allow pop-ups from these websites: apps.availity.com www.availity.com mc.availity.com careprescribe.scripttone.com Note: If you access any third-party websites from the Availity Web Portal, add those sites as well. 4
Availity.com Registration If your practice does not have access, go to www.availity.com and click Get Started under Register Now for the Availity Web Portal. 5
Primary Access Administrator (PAA) Registers Organization in Availity 1. Log in to Availity.com. 2. Select Account Administration. 3. Select Maintain Organization Please note if the PAA is tied to multiple organizations, select the correct organization to proceed. 4. Select Provider Online Reporting Enrollment Administration. Primary Access Administrator (PAA): individual(s) at the practice responsible for setting up and maintaining user accounts and maintaining organization information 6
PAA Registers Organization in Availity 1. Verify or select Organization. 2. Verify or select Payer. 3. Click Submit. 7

PAA Registers Organization in Availity Select Register Tax ID(s) for the applicable program to register tax IDs. Note: The practice may be participating in more than one program; the PAA must register each program that is listed. 9
PAA Registers Organization in Availity A pop-up window will display all Tax ID(s) that need to be registered for the program. Check the box for each Tax ID to be registered, and click Save. 10 10
PAA Registers Organization in Availity You now have successfully completed the Tax ID Registration. You will notice that after the registration has been completed, the option to Register Tax ID(s) has changed to Edit Tax ID(s). Click Logout to complete the registration process on Availity, which is still running as an active session in the background. 11 11
PAA Registers New Availity User Adding a New User Select Account Administration Add User from the Availity menu and complete the required fields for access. Click the Provider Online Reporting check box under roles, click next, and then click Submit. A temporary password and User ID will be provided to the PAA. 12 12
PAA Edits Existing Availity User Editing Existing User Roles Select Account Administration Maintain User from the Availity menu. Locate the user s account. Click on the name of user. In the Roles column, click on View/Edit. A list of available roles displays. Select the check box for Provider Online Reporting and click Save. 13 13
Log Out to View Updated Roles After assigning user roles in Provider Online Reporting, users including the PAA must log out and log back in to Availity to see the updated role assignment. Users can access the Provider Online Reporting application from the left navigation menu in Availity: My Payer Portals > Provider Online Reporting. 14 14
Access Provider Online Reporting Go to www.availity.com. Click Web Portal Users Login. Enter User ID and Password. Click Log in. 15 15

Register and Set Up New Users in Provider Online Reporting Maintain User New User Registration 1. Select a Program If the organization is participating in more than one program, the PAA must register the user to access Provider Online Reporting for each individual program, as appropriate. 2. Select New users are available to register link the PAA will be taken to the Register User Landing page (see next slide). This link will only display when the program has new users that have not been registered. 18 18
Register and Set Up New Users in Provider Online Reporting Register User(s): Select a Program: If the organization is participating in more than one program, the PAA must register the user to access Provider Online Reporting for each individual program, as appropriate. NOTE: The required fields for user registration and set up may change depending on the program selected. 1. Select User(s): The list of users will appear in alphabetical order by last name and will be unchecked by default. Select appropriate user for access. (Only those users that were given the Provider Online Reporting role in Availity will be listed here.) 2. Assign Access: Select the applicable Tax ID(s) for access. 3. Select Add To Preview: To review the selections made prior to saving. 19 19
User Registration and Set Up: Edit User Maintain User - Edit User Once the user(s) have been successfully registered, the PAA can view the list of users, group information, the role assignment given, and the Tax ID that each user has access to. Select Edit User to modify existing access for the user. The Edit User screen will be prepopulated with the data for the selected user.(see next slide) 20 20

Programs Programs: Select a Program using the drop-down arrow. This page provides a description about the program(s) in which your organization is participating. 24 24
Access Provider Care Management Solutions (PCMS) Application Click Report Search and then click PDF to view the report. 25 25
