ITEM 3040 Reciprocal Switching Grain rates between connections and Grain Elevator at Irondale, IL Grain, in bulk, (STCC 01 1X XXX) when shipped to or from connecting carriers and Chicago & Illinois River Marketing, Elevator "B" located at See Notes 1,2,3, & 5 $211 See Notes 1,2,4 & 5 $221 Note 1 : Applies on traffic received from or delivered to CRL Note 2 : Rate does not include absorption of intermediate switch. Any such charges will be in addition to the published rate. Note 3 : Applicable in cars loaded up to 263,000 GVWR Note 4 : Applicable in cars loaded in excess of 263,000 GVWR Note 5 : All cars must be pre blocked and moved in a complete block or unit train and be loaded (if originating from a CRL industry) or unloaded (if terminating at a CRL industry) and released by customer in a complete block or unit train and require no additional switching by CRL to be entitled to the rates specified above. If any additional switching by CRL is required an Intra Terminal switch charge of $100 per car will be billed to the customer and applied to each car which is received by CRL in interchange from a connecting rail carrier which is not delivered to or received from customer in a single block of cars, at one time, one day, in the same number of cars as was received by CRL from a connecting rail carrier. For Example, if CRL receives one (1), inbound, loaded, coma grain unit train (with all cars loaded up to 263,000 GVWR) of 110 cars from a connecting rail carrier which are destined to the customer's facility and customer accepts such train for unloading in two (2) blocks, one (1) 90 car block and one (1) 20 car block, with no additional switching by CRL, CRL shall charge the customer for each car in the 20 car block at the rate of $100 per car, as an Intra Terminal Switch, in addition to the per car rate specified above. Note 2 : Applies on empty and loaded cars of all commodities (in each direction) except for Hazardous Material, Explosives, TIH/PIH and Dimensional and excluding to or from IAIS, where CRL provides intermediate switch service between railroads having a direct connection with CRL. Note 3 : Applies on empty and loaded cars of all commodities (in each direction) except for Hazardous Material, Explosives, TIH/PIH and Dimensional and excluding traffic specified in Notes 1 & 2 above where CRL provides intermediate switch service between railroads having a direct connection with CRL.
