Clock works on AC & DC but fails when either power source is removed Check clock display on both AC and DC Power supply DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 2 Clock runs correctly on AC & DC Power Clock LCD Display doesn t work Check Battery Item 14 CR2032 is installed correctly ensuring that the spring and battery make contact If battery is installed correctly check the button batteries capacity if low replace Go to Diagnostic chart 6 If battery is ok, and all leadwires are securely connected replace Item 19 Battery PCB Board
DC013 DIAGNOSTC CHART 3 Radio is not receiving FM Check if radio can receive AM If radio can receive AM check if Antenna is broken If radio cannot receive AM replace Item 17 Main PCB Board If antenna is not broken check Antenna wire for an open circuit. If broken replace Item 22 Antenna Plate SA If antenna wire is OK, and no open circuit replace item 17 Main PCB Board

DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 5 No Sound on AUX Function Ensure AM / FM is functioning correctly If AM / FM functions correctly, ensure that AUX device works normally If AM / FM is not functioning correctly go to diagnostic diagram 6 Ensure Black, Yellow, Red & White lead that connects AUX PCB (item 25) to Main PCB (item 17) is fastened securely If lead is OK, replace Item 25 AUX PCB Board If AUX Board doesn t correct, replace Main PCB Item 17
DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 6 Display and sound does not work on AC Power Confirm that unit display and sound works in DC mode but not in AC Check Transformer Item 21 and black leadwire are connected to Item 15 Power PCB Board If DC mode doesn t work either go to Diagnostic chart 7 If connection is OK exchange the Power Board PCB Item 15 If connection doesn t work exchange the Transformer Item 21
DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 7.1 No Sound or Display when running on battery Does unit work on AC Power Ensure that the Black & Red Battery leadwire is onnected securely to CN609 on the Power PCB Board Item 15. Check battery voltage is more than 10Volts Please follow Instructions overleaf If voltage is higher than 10V exchange the Power Board PCB Item 15 If voltage is lower than 10V exchange the Charger PCB Board Item 16
No Sound or Display when running on battery Unit not working either AC or DC Power DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 7.2 Ensure speaker wire is connected properly Check all connections on Main PCB Board Item 17 are secure Once connections are secure check Control SA Item 38 If Control SA is OK Check IC501 Pin 1 is the higher than 9 Volts If Control SA Item 38 is faulty replace If IC501 voltage is less than 9V, and the voltage output of CN501 is less than 9.8V then replace Power PCB Board Item 15 If the voltage is higher than 9V Exchange item 6 PCB Controller If IC501 voltage is less than 9V, and the voltage output of CN508 is higher than 9.6V replace item 17 Main PCB Board
DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 8.1 Unit not charging - Charging indicator Fast Blinking Confirm AM/FM & AUX Function OK and only Charging function is faulty Charge LED is OFF Fast Blink on Li Ion Charge Fast blink on NiCD Charge Ensure battery contact is OK, and it contacts correctly Refer to chart 8.2 Refer to chart 8.2 Check LED Wire is connected properly If failing change Item 26 LED PCB If operating change Charger PCB Item 16
DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 8.2 Fast Blink on Li Ion / NiCD Charge Ensure Power PCB Item 15 is fastened tightly Ensure battery pack is not too hot too charge Confirm if AC voltage is at correct level. If not adjust accordingly Confirm if REL601, REL602 & REL603 Are connected on Power PCB Item 15 If the relays are OK, change the Charger Item 30 If the relays are faulty change the Power PCB Item 15
DC013 DIAGNOSTIC CHART 9 No Output from AC Socket Confirm if AM, FM & AUX function If functions are OK, ensure AC plug & Socket are tightly connected, and all wires are connected If fucntions aren t OK refer to diagnostic chart 6 If wires are connected OK, and Socket is OK replace Cordset Item 40. If wires are connected OK, and Cordset is OK replace AC Socket Item 27
DIAGNOSTIC CHART 10 USB 5V Output Not Functioning Confirm if speakers operate on AM, FM and Aux Functions Ensure USB PCB Item 26 is tightly connected If still not working replace Item 26 If LCD Unit is not displaying & there s no sound, see chart 6 If this fails to work, replace Power PCB Item 15 If this fails to work, replace Transformer Item 21
