Stop Basement Leak Systems It is a fact that a wet or damp basement can be dangerous and hazardous to the health and safety of both people and the structure. CR Stop Basement Leak Systems offers our customers the most advanced and reliable waterproofing protection systems on the market. Our experienced crews are able to diagnose problems and provide proper solutions immediately. We have developed techniques and controls that help us make sure all basements we service have an adequate waterproof seal to ensure the integrity of the foundation. Internal Water Control Systems: The process of installing an internal weeping tile system to control any water entering through the foundation walls and floor and diverting it away from your home or business. Sump Pump Installation: The process of digging a sump pit and installing a sump pump to relieve hydrostatic pressure from beneath your basement floor. External Crack Repair: The process of applying our bulletproof layered systems to leaking foundations from the outside through excavation. Foundation Wrapping: The process of installing a tough, waterproof, dimpled membrane that wraps around the foundation wall to keep away water and wet soil. Weeping tile installed along the footing to drain away water that accumulates at the bottom of your home or business overtime. 4 Serving Southern Ontario Since 2005
Underpinning CR Underpinning offers full underpinning services to homeowners and General contractors. Underpinning is the process of pouring or shooting a solid secondary foundation laid below ground level to support and strengthen an existing structure. We have a very experienced crew who work ambitiously to deliver the most quality underpinning service. Typically when we complete an underpinning project is it done in a sequence with a series of panels listed 1 3 (sometimes 4 depending on soil conditions) that will be completed in a specific order as shown below. Our general method is to cleanly undermine existing foundation, install rebar and Our general method is to cleanly undermine existing foundation, install rebar and dowels if required, and place concrete 2-3 from its proposed support contact. We will fill the void with dry pack cement after the panel achieves its initial set. CR is able to install underpin panels by way of forming and pouring or shooting with air placed concrete (shotcrete) depending on project details. Having these solutions will help us provide General Contractors with expert focussed and cost effective solutions. After successfully completing underpinning systems it will allows for increase in the overall strength, height and square footage of any structure below grade. 519.757.LEAK (5325) 5
Injection Generally the best way to repair a crack in a foundation or a concrete structure is through way of injection. CR specializes in injection solutions to meet the needs of almost all injection required work. Our injection specialists can help determine which repair method is best for your crack. Our experiences have been addressing cracks such as hairlines, active leaks, structural, and slab repairs. With our quality crack repair materials and equipment, our trademark injection techniques and our commitment to quality control and assurance we will ensure an adequate seal the first time. Crack Injection Method: Although cracks will require different materials, volumes of pressure, cleanout methods, and techniques, the injection procedure are generally as follows 1. Drill into or intersecting crack and install injection ports 2. Proceed with high/low pressure cleanout if required 3. Apply paste or hydraulic cement over the crack surface and allow to cure for strong seal 4. Proceed to inject chosen material Cementitious Injection Cementitious injection is the process where a cementitious grout is pumped under pressure to fill forms, voids, and cracks. Generally we inject grout to fill cracks and voids where large volumes of material are required or where high service temperatures are anticipated. It is also used to bond and protect rock anchors in concrete or rock. Reactive Resin Injection Polyurethane injection is the process where we inject a reactive resin that will react with moisture in the crack to foam and expand inside the wall. Our material expands up to 30 times of its initial volume ensuring an adequate hydrophobic barrier. Polyurethane foams are flexible and move with the expansion and contraction of a foundation wall from freeze/thaw cycles. Expansion Joint Injection Our joint seal injections weld cracks together and restore the overall strength and integrity of structures. The bond strength can be much higher than concrete and movement is eliminated in the concrete wall during expansion and contraction cycles. Our rigid materials are capable of reaching 85 mpa and have been used for treating expansion joints and other structural cracks. 6 Serving Southern Ontario Since 2005
Rehabilitation Concrete structures, although built to be durable, eventually deteriorate over time. Generally, concrete deteriorates due to freeze-thaw cycles, corrosion, overload, abrasion, heat, and water. Whatever the case we can help, CR offers a variety of services to restore, rehabilitate and protect concrete structures and surfaces. Our offerings are available to any small to large scale projects. We have effective products and solutions for projects requiring structural repairs and restoration, decorative finishes, and crystalline waterproof coatings. CN2000 CR is a certified applicator for the revolutionary CN2000 Waterproof Coating. What is CN2000? A crystalline waterproof material used as a surface coating to protect infrastructure from deterioration and leaks. Applied as a 3 part coating, it creates a crystalline waterproof barrier by becoming an integral part of the concrete substrate. How does it work? Overtime water that tries penetrate the concrete will be stopped by the embedded crystalline waterproof barrier. The crystalline is self-healing and reacts when exposed to water not allowing any moisture to pass through. How is it applied? 1. Chip and scarify the concrete exposing the affected areas. 2. Use our instant plug material to stop active leaks. 3. Spread brush and trowel application of our crystal waterproof material. 4. Apply the hydrating rubberized membrane when all products are set. What are the benefits? 1. Durable -weatherproof -corrosion resistant -self healing -cementitious crystalline waterproofing 2. Cost effective -repair time and cost -short cure time -no sealing, lapping or finishing 3. Approved For Use -accepted by Ontario Provincial standards 4. Non-toxic -all CN200 products are non-toxic 519.757.LEAK (5325) 7
