The Fundamental Baptist Theological Seminary Life Gate Baptist Church Campus Faculty Members Dr. Jay Noland Dr. Noland serves as the Founder and first President of The Fundamental Baptist Theological Seminary. He was born again in 1975 at the age of 17 and in 1983 he surrendered to the call of God upon his life to preach the Gospel. He is a graduate of Heritage Bible College with both the Bachelor s and Master s Degrees in Religion. He is also a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with the Associate of Divinity Degree, and he has earned the Doctor of Theology Degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary. Dr. Noland has 30 years of experience as a Pastor and Evangelist. He has pastored Churches in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. He has preached in over 150 revival meetings as well as many camp meetings, special conferences, and mission trips both in the U.S. and overseas. Dr. Noland currently serves as a Missionary-Evangelist through Faith Baptist Missions, a ministry of Sweet Springs Baptist Church in Ardmore, AL. He and his wife Michelle have a home in Ardmore, TN and are members of Sweet Springs Baptist Church. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Dr. Matthew Morrison Dr. Morrison serves as Dean of the Riverview Campus of the Fundamental Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a native of West Virginia and grew up in a Christian setting with his father being an evangelist; who also led him to the Lord at the age of 8. He surrendered to the call of God to preach in 1998. He has served as an Assistant Pastor and Pastor in West Virginia and currently serves as Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church in Southside, AL. Dr. Morrison is a graduate of Mountaineer Baptist College where he earned both the Bachelor s and Master s Degree of Religious Education and also a Doctor of Ministry Degree. 3
Dr. Tim Smith Dr. Smith was saved at the age of 10 and called to preach at the age of 17. He is a graduate of Patriot Bible University earning both the Bachelor s Degree and the Master s Degree in Christian Education and he has earned the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary in Slidell, Louisiana. Dr. Smith currently serves as the Pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church in Crossville, AL and Administrator of Beth Haven Christian Academy. He and his wife Rhonda have two children and one grandchild. Pastor Jeff Mims Pastor Mims serves as Dean of the Life Gate Campus of the Fundamental Baptist Theological Seminary. He was saved at the age of 12 and surrendered to preach as a teen. He has been involved in various areas of ministry since 1981 and in the pastorate since January 1998. He is currently serving as Pastor of the Life Gate Baptist Church in Arab, AL. Pastor Mims has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Patriot Bible University, and a Master of Ministry degree from Crown Seminary in Powell, TN. 4

Th101 Introduction to Theology Professor Jay Noland, Th.D An introductory course of the four major branches of Theology and their related subbranches. En101 English Grammar Professor Matthew Morrison, D.Min An introductory course focusing upon the development of basic grammar skills. Hi101 Church History I Professor Jeff Mims, M.Min An undergraduate course exploring Church History from the Apostolic Churches (30-100 A.D.) to the time of John Wycliffe and the Lollards (1400-1500). Bachelor of Theology Degree Spring Semester Bi102 New Testament Survey Professor Tim Smith, D.Min A synopsis of the 27 New Testament books studying the main themes and events. Master of Theology Degree Fall Semester Th501 Advanced Systematic Theology I Professor Jeff Mims, M.Min Advanced Systematic Theology I and II are graduate level courses designed to thoroughly acquaint the student with the study of Theology. The text is Systematic Theology in One Volume by Dr. Norman Geisler. Advanced Systematic Theology I will cover the Introduction to Theology and the Doctrine of the Bible. Hi501 History of Christian Leaders Professor Matthew Morrison, D.Min An overview of prominent Christian leaders spanning from the early Church to modern times. The individual biographical sketches of some of the greatest giants of the faith and their impact are reviewed within this course. Bi501 Luke and Acts Professor Tim Smith, D.Min A graduate level course designed to acquaint the student with the general content of the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. The major thrust of the course will be the study of the Bible text itself. Cm502 Bible Exegesis and Preaching Professor Jay Noland, Th.D The purpose of this course is for the training of the preacher of the Word of God with an emphasis upon Bible Exegesis and Expository Preaching. 6

Hi502 History of Revival Professor Matthew Morrison, D.Min An overview of the prominent revivals occurring from Bible times to modern times while studying the mightiest movements of God throughout history. C501 Pastoral Counseling Professor Tim Smith, D.Min An advanced course intended to help the Pastor in counseling with Biblical teaching. Bi502 The I AM Statements of Christ Professor Jay Noland, Th.D A course designed to introduce the student to the several I Am statements of Christ as recorded in the New Testament. 7
Conduct and Attire Students are expected to maintain faithful attendance to all meetings in their home church. A church attendance report will be submitted each week. Students should strive to maintain high academic standards avoiding cheating, plagiarism, and any other academic dishonesty. As to dress, we desire all students to be comfortable, yet respectful to the environment of a Bible College setting. We ask that all students observe no less than a business casual appearance of dress; collared shirt or shirt and tie for gentlemen, and knee length or below skirt or dress for the ladies. Please, no shorts, jeans, tees, and the like to any function of the FBTS. Let modesty and propriety be the guide. 8
Fees & Tuition Registration Fee: $50.00 (nonrefundable) Bachelor s Program Tuition: $15.00 per credit hour = $240.00 per semester Master s Program Tuition: $18.00 per credit hour = $288.00 per semester Students will be responsible for cost of books including shipping Graduation fee: To be determined Fees for auditing classes: $50.00 per class Tuition for single course: $100.00 Tuition for two courses: $180.00 Tuition for three courses: $220.00 Scholarship: One full tuition per semester for Churches that provide $50.00 per month or more support for the Seminary -------------------------------------------------------- Registration fee must be paid at time of registration. Tuition must be paid at time of registration or at first day of classes. Payment plan for full-time students only: One half of tuition must be paid on or before the first day of classes. The balance of tuition must be paid on or before the fifth week of classes. Students taking less than four courses or students auditing classes must pay their full tuition on or before the first day classes. Students that drop out before the fifth week of classes may be refunded up to one half of the tuition paid. No refunds will be given after the fifth week of classes. Registration fee is non-refundable. Costs of books are nonrefundable. Fees for auditing classes are non-refundable. 9
