Introducing Pizza Time The Pizza Time story began ten years ago when our two founding brothers, attracted by the lush greenery and calmer pace of life, moved to the Hampshire area from London. With seven years experience working in a local takeaway already behind them, they decided to open up a place of their own. When a shop became available, they seized the opportunity, refurbished the space and Pizza Time was born! Picky in the extreme about food, they invited a couple of chefs from London to share in their dream. They insist on the freshest ingredients possible and don t mind paying a little extra for the best. With a passionate focus on developing their own recipes, experimenting with flours, sauces and fresh ingredients they found what we believe is a winning formula. The Art of Preparation It takes five hours of daily preparation to make a Pizza Time pizza. We think you ll agree that the taste it is well worth it! All our pizzas are handmade no machines, no shortcuts. Italian flour, tomato sauce and mozzarella imported and other ingredients are sourced locally for freshness. As a matter of fact, Pizza Time prides itself on the freshness and flavour of its pizzas. We are also happy to say that the variety of our menus (over 25 different pizzas) means that there is something for everyone. Hard Work and Determination Hard work, determination and a commitment to quality have seen our business grow into a local institution. We have a loyal customer base and continue to grow from strength to strength. We ll invite you to try one of our pizzas when you come for a Discovery Day and we re confident that you ll see for yourself that when it s time for a good time it s PIZZA TIME!

The Pizza Industry The Quick Service Restaurant sector is continuing to experience sustained growth in the UK and constitutes more than half of all the meals eaten outside the home in Britain. The average British resident spends 1,320 per year with Quick Service Restaurants which equates to 12 meals EVERY month at a cost of approximately 110 according to Key Note. Fully 49% of the 25-34 age group state they rely on takeaways because they can t, don t want to or don t have the time to cook at home. Within this market, 70% of UK residents ate pizza in 2011, a trend that is growing, with pizza being the fourth most popular menu option after Chinese, Indian and fish and chips as reported in the UK press. Sector trends see mobile devices fuelling a surge in online sales, which have grown from 2 million a year in 2006 to more than 5 billion in 2012. This is set to explode with the availability of smart devices. Market analysts IBISWORLD expect the overall Quick Service Sector to grow by a further 2.1% compound annual rate through to 2019.
