2 Important Notice You cannot install and use RealShot Manager Advanced Server and the Recording Server Monitoring Server on a same PC. You cannot connect Recording Serer Maintenance Tool with RealShot Manager Advanced on Windows 8. The information of camera is not displayed correctly after Recording Server Monitoring Server V1.0.0 and/or Recording Server Monitoring Tool V1.0.0 have been updated to V1.1.0 or higher. To correct the information, unregister NSR-1000 series, NSR-500 and RealShot Manager Advanced which are registered with the Recording Server Monitoring Server, and register them again. - 3 -
3 Notes 3-1 Installation: Setting It is out of the operation guarantee to monitor NSR-1000 Series / NSR-500 / RealShot Manager Advanced with the Recording Server Monitoring Server and the Recording Server Monitoring Tool via NAT. Select [Complete] in the [Setup Type] screen in the installation. If you select [Custom] by mistake, please uninstall the Central Configuration Tool, and then reinstall it again. On registration of NSR-1000 Series / NSR-500, it is not detectable disorders which are displayed on the Hardware Information screen: [Temperature], [Battery], [Fan], [Power Supply], [Drive], [Controller], [SEP], [HostInterface] and [Subsystem]. Please make sure that the target NSR-1000 Series / NSR-500 does not have any disorders before you register them. 3-2 The Register the Server to be monitored dialog A server is improperly registered with any wrong [Recording Server] account by the procedure below: 1. Delete NSR-1000 Series / NSR-500 / RealShot Manager Advanced from the server view by selecting [Unregister] in the [Server] menu. 2. Register the same server again without exiting the application. As it may be unable to monitor servers, please delete the servers, and register them again after restarting the computer on which the Recording Server Monitoring Server works. There is no limit on the numbers of characters that can be entered for [Password] of [Account]-[OS]. When the [Type] is [NSR-500/NSR-1000], the whole input become the password. When the [Type] is [RSM Ad], the exceed characters will be truncated by the OS limit of your machine. When you input 33 characters or more for [Password] of [Account]-[Recording Server], only first 32 letters are used. - 4 -
3-3 The Monitoring Device View tree Even though you select multiple servers and groups and drag&drop them, you can move only one server or one group. The number of servers and groups which can be selected at the same time is up to 2. Grayed out server icon indicates that the Recording Server Monitoring Server cannot access to NSR-1000 Series / NSR-500 / RealShot Manager Advanced. When the grayed icon is observed though the server satisfies the following conditions, delete the server and register it again. To complete the deletion, please be sure to reboot the computer on which the Recording Server Monitoring Server runs. Server is running. Server is connected with the same network as the Recording Server Monitoring Server. 3-4 The Hardware Information screen To retrieve hardware information, the application uses following interfaces: SSH and SNMP for NSR-500 and NSR-1000 Series WMI for RealShot Manager Advanced 3-5 The Log screen The following error is not cleared and the [State] of server remains [Critical] during ERROR lamp lights. Error has occurred on the registered server. To clear this error, turn off the ERROR lamp on the main screen of NSR-500 and NSR-1000 series. - 5 -
