ATHLETIC RESUME SAMPLE Along with your coach contact letter, you need to send the coach an athletic resume. This resume relays key information the coach will want to know about you. SAMPLE UPDATE LETTER This last page is a sample coach update letter. Once coaches show an interest in you, you will want to keep the communication lines open. This letter should be used but not over used. You don t want to write the coach so often that you begin to annoy him or her. Send important updates, but don t write the coach just to be writing them. Keep in mind, they want to hear from you, but they are busy people! SAMPLE UPDATE LETTER 1 November 2007 Dear Coach, I wanted to get an important post season update to you.
