MAXATTACH TM IP & MAX TM IP INTEROPERABILITY The following table lists the manufacturers and products that have been tested with the MAXAttach IP and MAX IP. with several platforms requires revision 3.0 of the MAX IP firmware; all customers are encouraged to download this free upgrade (see Software Downloads section on www.clearone.com). If you have questions on implementation, please contact ClearOne Technical Support at 800-283-5936. SIP PBX Systems Communication Manager 3.1.2 running on an Media Server such as S8710 Communication Manager 3.1.2 and SIP Enablement Services 3.1 to any existing phone system (TDM or IP). See the /ClearOne MAX IP Cisco CallManager 5 CallManager 4 Nortel MCS 5100 ClearOne has tested MAX IP (firmware revision 3.0) with Cisco CallManager 5, which is a SIP platform. It is fully compatible with no noted issues. ClearOne has also tested MAX IP with Cisco CallManager 4 (non- SIP) with an Asterisk SIP proxy - fully compatible. ClearOne has tested MAX IP (firmware revision 3.0) with the Nortel MCS5100 system (loaded with Release 4.0 software). It is fully compatible with no noted issues. VCX 7.0 Platform (V7000, V6000 servers) MAX IP works with the VCX platform, with the following notes: 1. Call transfer feature on VCX not fully supported on MAX IP. 2. Unattended conference feature on VCX not supported on MAX IP. Further testing of MAX IP (firmware revision 3.0) with the VCX platform, which has not yet been completed, may resolve the above issues. The 79XX handsets can also be provisioned as native SIP phones through a firmware upgrade. In this case, they are no longer usable through Call Manager 4 (SCCP), but can be used with other SIP PBX systems.
