Basic Xten Pro Configuration 1. Download and install Xten Lite. 2. Launch the Xten Lite client; click the Menu option just above the number 3 digit on the Xten keypad. 3. Double click on the System Settings option or high light and click Select

4. From the Settings menu you must configure the Network and SIP Proxy options.

5. Double click on Network option and provide the following information. Auto Detect IP: Yes Listen on IP: IP Address of your PC Listen SIP Port: 5060 Listen RTP Port: 2088 NAT Firewall IP: Add IP of Firewall (if connecting from wan) Out Bound SIP Proxy: WAN or LAN IP of Bizfon 7000 6. When finished click the Back button and then double click SIP Proxy then double click default.

7. Enter the following information Enabled: Yes User Name: Must configure SIP Handset assigned User ID of SIP Handset. example 5101 Authorization User: Must Assign SIP Handset to User created SIP Handset Login ID Password: Password of User created and assigned SIP Handset Domain/Realm: This must be provided. Name it anything SIP Proxy: WAN or LAN IP Address of Bizfon Server Out Bound Proxy: WAN or LAN IP Address of Bizfon Server Register: Always

8. Click the Back button (3) times to get back to the Main Menu. This will force the Xten Lite to Register with the Bizfon 7000 Server. 9. You must create a User and a SIP Handset on the Bizfon 7000 Server to obtain the information needed to configure the Xten Lite. 10. Adding a User. 1. Log into the Bizfon 7000 Web Admin Interface and go to Business>Users>Add New User 2. Provide the information, select the appropriate options and write down the Login Name, Password and Phone Extension (extension 100 198 can be assigned).

11. Adding a SIP Handset. 1. Log into the Bizfon 70000 Web Admin Interface and go to Phone System>Handsets>New SIP Handset 2. Provide the following information and write it down Owner: Assign to User just created Extension: Choose and Extension (200 299) SIP Phone Radio Button Model: Generic SIP Phone Must Authenticate (register) Radio Button Login ID: User Login Name Password: User Password 12. Once configured, the Xten can register with the Bizfon 7000 over the WAN/LAN or via a PPTP VPN connection. Verify you can take and place calls from the Xten client and have registered successfully. 13.
