Why is writing well important? What happens when people don t get what you wrote? How can you fix that? How can learning to ask quality questions help you learn? Evaluate yourself: how well do you write questions? What does your ISN tell others about you?

Your teacher will start with a ball of yarn & tell you something about herself. She holds onto the string, then tosses the yarn ball to one of you, and asks him or her to reveal something unique. By the time the ball of yarn has made its way around the circle, everyone will be holding a part of it, and it will look like a web. Now Reflect: What did we make?'"

Gallery Walk- ISN Covers Stand in a circle between the groups of desk. Starting at your teacher s desk, put yourselves in order by birthday. Hold your ISN with decorated cover in front of you. Get a sticker from Mrs. Mustain. Listen to instructions for how you will Gallery Walk the ISN covers & vote.

Break the Ice #3- Human Scavenger Hunt Get a Human Scavenger sheet. Now see if you can solve the clues by walking around the room and asking your peers questions from the list. You will have 2 minutes! Object: try to match as many blanks as you can from your peers!
