Tigger MAX TAG TEMPLATES More than 1,800 tags to choose from! Beware of Dog
These enclosed tag templates can be photocopied onto letter sized paper and cut in half. Provide these to your customers to fill out prior to engraving to speed entry time and help prevent engraving mistakes. In the interest of trees everywhere, we at imarc suggest laminating your copies, then using a dry erase pen to fill out the template forms. (We recommend a fine tip.) IMPORTANT NOTE: The imarc is equipped to engrave only on imarc manufactured tags with imarc manufactured tag holders. Use of tags or tag holders not manufactured by imarc, or any modifications to imarc tag holders or machine will void your warranty, and may cause serious damage to your imarc Engraver.

Tips & Tricks 1. When Engraving multiple lines the imarc will automatically size the lettering depending on the amount of text you wish to engrave. To maximize the letter sizes try to evenly distribute the information between lines allowing for a more legible tag. 2. The different font selection allows you to give a unique look to what you are engraving. We recommend using this feature when personalizing the tag with minimal letter counts such as a pet s name. The imarc Block or the 2L Century fonts are the most legible of the font choices. Using the other fonts especially on small tags could result in illegible text. The script font is designed to be used with upper and lower case letters such as the first letter caps the remainder caps off. Using all upper case letters could result in text that is difficult to read. 3. Editing text by the F8 feature is a great way to save time if you have a customer that wants multiple tags. In some cases the customer will request the tag to have all the information on one side. By engraving one tag and then pressing the F8 function you can easily edit one line at a time engraving multiple tags in very little time. This function can also be used for engraving the same information on different styles of tags. First engrave the information on one of the selected styles then press the F4 key for holder set up and replace the holder with one of the other styles you wish to engrave with the same information (see F4 holder set up on page 4 for details) after holder change press the F8 key and your information will appear on the new tag style. 4. The imarc gives you the capability to engrave multiple passes by pressing the #2 key at the check text screen. We recommend that you use this function when you desire to engrave a richer, deeper text. This function is especially useful when engraving on brass or stainless steel. 5. The imarc screen can tilt up or down to accommodate different viewing points and eliminate glare. Simply grasp the screen cover firmly and push up or down to achieve the best view. 24
