Rising Star Outreach is our national charity, and depending on each city we go to we work with local charities that are making differences in their cities. Every event The Lights Fest produces, part of the proceeds go to these non-profits.

THE LIGHTS STORE: This event has some pretty cool swag in the store - but supply will be limited. This means sizes of shirts, and quantities available will be limited. If you are hoping to take home a souvenir - we recommend you hit the store early. SCHEDULE OF FESTIVITIES: The Lights Fest is Saturday from 1:30 pm to when the sky lanterns are launched. Check-in will begin at 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm where participants will get their lanterns and other swag before entering our festival area. Check-in will go the entire night but we encourage people to get their items before 6:00 pm. At that time music will start, games will be played, and it never hurts to have a little dancing. Food trucks will be there to satisfy your hunger, and several other vendors will also be selling food and other items. Once it gets dark, we will begin to set up for the Sky Lantern Launch. We will give a brief description on stage of how to light off a lantern, and then do a quick countdown to launch the lanterns. After you have set your lantern to the sky, the festival will continue to play music, but the festival is essentially over at this point. We will have parking attendants to help you leave the premise in an orderly fashion. THE LIGHTS STORE: This event has some pretty cool swag in the store - supplies will be limited. This means sizes of shirts and quantities available will be limited. If you are hoping to take home a souvenir we recommend you hit the store early. CLEAN UP: As you can imagine the clean up for the event is pretty crazy. At every event we have a few choice souls who elect to help us out and volunteer for clean up. Clean up usually consists of moving trash to the dumpster, cleaning up every single lantern that has been lit to the sky, helping us pack up equipment, etc. More hands make for lighter work and for those guests or volunteers who stick around and lend a helping hand we love to hook you up with bonus swag, tickets to future events, and more. We understand if this is not your thing - but thank you in advance to those who help! We need your help: Finding venues in your city to host events like The Lights Fest can be a challenge. Our event creates a lot of trash and our hands are full cleaning up after the event is over. One key part of being able to return to venues year after year is being respectful of local businesses, public transportation, etc. Spectators: The event is closed to ticket holders only but spectators are welcomed to stand outside the event area to observe if they would like. Photo Policy: We re here to help you make memories. Take lots of photos and don t forget to share them

with us! Professionals using DSLR or professional camera equipment: the images of our event are owned by us and you must register and get permission to shoot at the event. Photographers shooting our event without permission agree that The Lights Fest is the sole owner of all image rights and you grant us perpetual irrevocable commercial rights to ALL images and video from our event. Unless you have written agreements stating otherwise. Weather: The Lights Fest will happen rain or shine! If weather or flood conditions exist that threaten the safety of participants we may adjust the start time of the event, or cancel the event altogether, if it is required by governing authority or common sense. If we have to cancel because of true weather danger such as lightning near the event, or serious risks - we will be on-site and the event costs will have all been paid - so refunds will not be issued.
