16MN10386 Credit Card Fraud On 04-02-16 at 12:03 pm the victim, a 54 year old white female Manalapan resident, reported a credit card fraud. She related that on January 19, 2016 an unknown actor(s) attempted to make two fraudulent purchases on her credit card. The incident is under investigation by Ptl. Jeff Emslie. 16MN10372 Criminal Mischief On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 6:40am, patrols responded to the area of Fells Drive for a report of criminal mischief. The victim a white female Manalapan resident had her left rear tire slashed during the overnight hours by an unknown suspect(s). Ptl Jennie Hensley handled the incident. 16MN10383- Theft of Mislaid Property On 4-1-16 at 11:15pm an 18 year old white female who resides in Manalapan, left her wallet in the bathroom in Wawa on Woodward Rd. Unknown actor/s had removed $360 US currency and turned the wallet in to Wawa staff. The victim returned to Wawa and was given her wallet back minus the cash. Ptl Seth Kreizman documented the incident. 16MN10191- Warrant Arrest On 3-31-16 at 12:48pm, Luka Bosire, a 53 year old Black/male, employed as a health aide from Jersey City, turned himself in to this agency on an outstanding traffic warrant out of Manalapan for $1000. He posted cash bail and processed. He was released pending a new court date. Ptl Seth Kreizman handled the arrest. 16MN10163- Warrant Arrest On Thursday, 03/31/2016, at approximately 12:48am, Qianxian Johnson, a 31year old black male Jackson Township resident, employed as an engineer, was stopped on Route 9 south after a random check of his license plate revealed that his license was suspended. Further investigation found that Johnson had an outstanding traffic warrant out of Woodbridge for $295. Johnson was arrested, transported back to headquarters, and processed. Johnson was issued a summons for Driving While Suspended and released after posting $295 bail. The arrest was made by Ptl. Jason Vigneault.

16MN10151 Shoplifting On Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 8:54pm, Andrew Robbins, a 25 year old white male resident of Long Branch, employed as a chef, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after he was observed by Best Buy Loss Prevention attempting to conceal a hard drive valued at $89.99 during a transaction. Robbins was arrested, charged with shoplifting, and released on his own recognizance pending court in Manalapan. Ptl. Brian Cruse handled the incident. 16MN10149 Forgery, Fraud, and Hindering Apprehension On March 30, 2016 at 8:10pm, Ptl. Sean McCarthy and Ptl. Phil Accatatta responded to the Verizon Wireless Store on Route 9 for a report of fraud. During the investigation it was determined that the accused, James G. Medori, a 48 year old unemployed resident of White Plains, NY, provided Verizon with a fraudulent driver s license and forged the victim s signature to open two new phone lines to the victim s account. Medori also gave police officers a false identity during the investigation, and he was also found to be in possession of a fraudulent credit card. Medori was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was processed a charged with forgery, credit card fraud, false government documents, and hindering his own apprehension. It was also determined that Medori had an active traffic warrant out of Alpine, NJ for $200.00. Medori posted the $200 bail and was released on summonses, pending a court date. Ptl. Sean McCarthy handled the arrest and was assisted in the investigation by Ptl. Accatatta. 16MN10116 - Bad Checks On Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 2:42pm, a 40 year old, white female, resident of Jackson Township, related that a customer at her Manalapan business wrote a bad check for the amount of $25.00. The check was returned by the bank indicating the account was closed. The check was written by a 46 year old, white female from Freehold Township. Ptl. Dessel took the report. 16MN10103- Burglary and Theft On 03/30/2016 at 1:13 pm, Ptl. Mark Casagrande responded to the lobby of headquarters for a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle. The victim, a 41 year old, white male, and resident of Manalapan reported that a Garmin GPS valued at $199.99 was taken from his motor vehicle while it was parked at his residence on Chaucer Rd. The burglary took place between March 18, 2016 and March 28, 2016. Ptl. Mark Casagrande handled the report.

16MN10069 - Warrant Arrest On Wednesday March 30, 2016, at 10:47 am, Ptl. Morgan Joiner responded to police headquarters for a subject turning himself in on an outstanding warrant out of the Manalapan Municipal Court. The arrestee, Robert C. Ericksen Jr., a 51 year old white male resident, unemployed, had an active traffic warrant out of Manalapan for $350.00. The arrestee was processed and released after posting the full bail amount and given a new court date at the Manalapan Municipal Court. 16MN10065- Burglary, Theft of Property, Criminal Mischief On Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 10:13am, Ptl. Joseph DeFilippis responded to a residence on Yorktowne Drive for a report of a burglary. A 77 year old, white female of Freehold advised unknown subject(s) entered their residence sometime between February 2016 and March 30, 2016. The unknown actor(s) forced entry into the residence through a rear door. Various pieces of jewelry at an unknown value were removed from the residence. 16MN10011- Possession of Less Than 50 Grams of Marijuana On Tuesday March 29 th, 2016 at approximately 9:46pm, Patrolman Philip Accatatta conducted a motor vehicle stop on Pension Road after observing several motor vehicle violations. The operator was identified as 24 year old white male Manalapan resident Julian M. Shpak. Shpak, who is a jeweler, was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Shpak was arrested, processed, and served with a criminal summons. Shpak was released on his own recognizance with a pending court date. 16MN04482- Warrant Arrest On Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 2:48 pm, Ptl. Reginald Grant responded to police headquarters for a subject turning himself in on an outstanding warrant out of Manalapan. The subject, Michael J. Pappone, a 25 year old white male resident, employed as a Cook, had an active traffic warrant out of Manalapan for $1,000.00. Pappone was later processed and released after posting bail. 16MN09974 Warrant Arrest On Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:12pm, Ptl. Ross Dessel responded to police headquarters for a subject turning herself in on an outstanding Manalapan warrant. Nicole Bruno, a 25 year old student, white female resident of Manalapan had an active warrant out of Manalapan Municipal Court for $164.00. The arrestee was processed, posted bail and was released.

16MN09906 - Possession of marijuana under 50 grams / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6:45pm, Ptl. Jared Coupland conducted a motor vehicle stop on Arbach Lane after observing a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Joshua M. Quiles 18 year old white male, Manalapan Resident, employed as a plumber s apprentice, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Quiles was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons. Quiles also received two traffic summons. Patrolman Jared Coupland handled the arrest. 16MN09870 - Warrant Arrest On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 3:27pm, Ptl. Kevin Ruditsky responded to police headquarters for a subject turning himself in on an outstanding Manalapan warrant. Francisco Melendez, a 29 year white male resident of Union employed as a barber had an active warrant out of Manalapan Municipal Court for $500.00. The arrestee was processed, posted bail and was released. 16MN09865 - Warrant Arrest On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 3:06pm, Ptl. Kevin Ruditsky responded to police headquarters for a subject turning himself in on an outstanding Manalapan warrant. Kelvin Johnson Jr, a 22 year old unemployed black male resident of Manalapan had an active traffic warrant out of Manalapan Municipal Court for $1000.00. The arrestee was processed, posted bail and was released. 16MN09847- Harassment On Monday, March 28, 2016 a 12:50PM, Ptl. Joseph DeFilippis responded to a Rt 33 address for a subject being harassed. A 68 year old black female of Manalapan alleged that a known 50 year old black male of Manalapan has been making unwanted comments towards her and exposed his buttocks to her after verbal argument. The subject was advised of the complaint procedures with Manalapan Township Municipal Court. 16MN098330 Warrant Arrest On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:41AM, Ptl. Joseph DeFilippis responded to police headquarters for a subject turning himself in on a warrant. Joesph R. Sica, 31 year old white male from Keyport and employed as a foreman had an active traffic warrant from South Brunswick Municipal Court for a $900.00. Arrestee was processed, posted bail in full, and released. Arrestee will have a future court date in South Brunswick.

16MN09819 - Warrant Arrest On Monday, March 28, 2016, at 8:57 am, Melissa Steigler, a 47 year old white female Belmar resident who is employed as a phlebotomist, turned herself in at Manalapan Police Headquarters on a $500.00 traffic warrant out of Manalapan Township Municipal Court. Steigler was processed and released after posting bail and given a court date on March 28 th, 2016. Patrolman Morgan Joiner handled the incident. 16MN09817- Simple Assault On March 28, 2016 at 8:33 AM, Ptl. Joseph DeFilippis responded to police headquarters for a subject reporting an assault. A 29 year old white female of Sayreville stated on March 11, 2016 at approximately 8:00PM, she was assaulted by a known 29 year old white female of Howell in the Babies R Us parking lot. Subject was explained the complaint procedures and to respond to Manalapan Township Municipal Court.
