EVENTUELT TIL BERG-HANSEN The hotel was built in 1914, and has since then played an important role in the history of Sandefjord. This was especially evident during the peak years of modern whaling, when Sandefjord grew to be the most important centre for whaling internationally. The hotel has chosen whaling as its historical theme, and throughout the hotel you will find displays, documents and showcases telling the story of whaling and its impact on the town and community of Sandefjord.
