Huss, CPA Hailing from Freedom, Wisconsin, I am a 1978 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, with a Business Administration degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, I worked as an Accountant for a large regional CPA firm before pursuing a career in the private sector. Earning my CPA in 1982, I held various Controller/CFO and corporate Secretary-Treasurer positions with small and medium-sized companies in industries such as manufacturing, retail, wholesale, non-profit and professional services. My responsibilities included arranging and maintaining all banking relationships, adhering to loan covenants and performing due diligence work for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. For the last 10 years, I was employed by AT&T in Corporate IT Services. It gave me invaluable large-company experience in business unit financial reporting, internal audit and compliance and Quality Assurance. My memberships include both the American Institute and the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs for over 25 years. In addition, I have served as a Board President of the Oshkosh Big Brothers / Big Sisters agency and serve as an active member of the Sussex Lions Club and the Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce.
