2 Seminar Objectives This seminar is sponsored by banks, to provide financial instruction to the owners and managers of small businesses whose sales are under $20 million. The program provides business owners and managers with hands-on practical tools and the financial skills required to develop a financial plan for success. Progressive bankers work to educate and develop good borrowers and prospects. When the education process is ongoing, the result is a more successful borrower, a stronger loan portfolio, and a common basis of communication and understanding between the banker and borrower. Who Should Attend? Closely held business owners, managers, entrepreneurs and controllers. Program Advantages Understanding what it takes to build transferable value. Business owners develop an understanding of how to determine their financial position by analyzing their financial statements, how to project financial requirements through cash flow planning, how to develop a profit plan, and how to manage future growth. Instructs how to properly structure debt. Demonstrates how to effectively communicate with their banker. Hands-on experience on putting together loan proposals. Specific information on: financial statement analysis, cash budgeting, sustainable growth rate concepts, profit planning, financial gap analysis, and break-even analysis. This seminar allows the bank to provide financial instruction to the owners and managers of small businesses whose sales are under $20 million. The seminar educates the business owner to determine what their future financial needs will be, how to effectively communicate with their banker, and how to put together loan proposals. 7 Kyle D. Enger Kyle Enger is Executive Vice President at Finagraph. Kyle began his career as an Executive Relationship Manager at Seattle First National Bank. He then received his MBA from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, where he won the entrepreneurship of the year award. After graduate school, Kyle worked for Marriott International in their Merger and Acquisition division where he took a role in launching Marriott's procurement division. Kyle was then Associate Director for Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington where he worked with the regional banking community with an emphasis on sales and credit training for banks. Most recently Kyle was co-founder and Principal of BBI Financial from , a financial services firm that provides training and education programs for bankers and business owners. There he provided consultation and assisted in many exchanges, the most notable of which is the Columbus transaction in BBI Financial also included the Relationship Banking Academy, both of which were acquired by Finagraph in Seminar Instructors Ryan S. Sheaffer Ryan Sheaffer is Associate Director and Analyst at Finagraph, where he specializes in financial management, small business development and growth strategies for a variety of different industry sectors. As a consultant, Ryan focuses on providing closely held companies with business diagnostic and valuation services. Ryan also provides financial management training to business owners and bankers across the country through Finagraph s engaging finance and valuation based training programs. Prior to joining Finagraph, Ryan led the outbound marketing efforts for a large national sports-related organization. Ryan received a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Portland.

8 Mike W. Milan Mike Milan is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Finagraph. Prior to joining Finagraph, Mike was President of J&M Investments which owned and operated various companies in the hospitality staffing, food and beverage, real estate management, and consulting industries. With more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in his own business ventures and an array of others, Mike has developed a formula for crafting ideas into million dollar companies. He has been a critical asset in countless start-up ventures including Pioneer Labor Services, Blazing Star Staffing, Recover, and BSR Ventures. After successfully selling his largest ground-up operation, Mike has consulted for large non-profits, small businesses, mid-size manufacturing companies, and hospitality-based businesses. His personal experience and involvement in the community combined with the technical knowledge of an MBA from Baylor University make for a powerful partnership with any business owner.
