Proven Pathway Viridian s Duplic8 Process TM is a time-tested, field-proven 8-step path an Associate follows to lead them down the road to realizing growth and increasing their financial rewards. We look forward to recognizing your efforts every step of the way! Step 1: Define your why. Everyone needs a purpose or goal that motivates them to succeed. Identifying what that is will keep you in motion and moving forward. Step 2: Set goals and make commitments. Without goals, there is no way to hit the target you established when defining your why. Define your goals, and define benchmarks to keep you on task and commit to the smaller steps to great success. Step 3: Who do you know? Friends, family, and people you see regularly are all potential Customers and Associates. You already have a personal relationship, so you can initiate a conversation with ease. Step 4: Step 5: Contact and invite. Follow the direction and instruction of your Personal Sponsor or upteam mentor to maximize the process. Don t pre-judge or otherwise dismiss someone who might be interested to learn more. Show the program. Remember you are the messenger, not the message. Utilize the array of tools available to grow your Customer base, and add new Associates to your team. Step 6: Follow-up and follow-through. It s not enough to simply show someone what Viridian is all about, you need to follow up to answer questions and reinforce the message. The fortune (and friendship) is in the follow-up. Step 7: Consult your coach. You aren t in this alone. Thousands of other people like you have taken these same steps and enjoyed personal success. Viridian's Fast Track to YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL Solar Customer Acquisition Bonus (CAB) Who gets paid? What do I do? Why? How it works! All Associates Customer Acquisition Bonuses 2 are a revenue stream that you directly control. Add new Personal Customers each month and earn bonuses that increase in amount along with the volume of activity each month. Customers are the lifeline in your business. As your Customer base grows, so does your organization and income. Maintain momentum by adding Personal Customer Credits (PCC) to your organization so you can reach new heights as you excel in your Career Path. Every month is a new chance to earn big by submitting solar Customers that eventually qualify. Earn up to $30 per Qualified Lead, 3 and up to $500 for each Qualified Contract. 4 The more leads you submit in a calendar month, the greater earning potential you have. For example, if you submit 50 leads in January, and 4 of those become qualified leads in February, you would earn $10 for each, or $40 total. If in March 4 more of the 50 leads qualify, you would earn $20 per lead, so an additional $120 would be paid out to you in Solar Lead Bonuses. 5 DID YOU KNOW? CAB The more solar leads that qualify, the more you earn per lead so it s important to submit as many leads as you can in each month period. LEADS For every lead you submit in a calendar month, you can earn up to $30 each time they get a proposal and become a Qualified Solar Lead. 2 QUALIFIED LEADS = JUST GETTING STARTED ONE FULL CALENDAR MONTH = $10 PER LEAD = $20 1-3 4-6 7-9 10+ PER LEAD = $30 PER LEAD CAB CONTRACTS Once your Qualified Solar Leads choose to go solar and are approved for installation, they become Qualified Solar Contracts and you can earn between $100 and $500 for each contract. 2 ONE FULL CALENDAR MONTH QUALIFIED CONTRACTS 1 = $100 PER CONTRACT 2-4 = $250 PER CONTRACT 5-7 = $350 PER CONTRACT 8+ = $500 PER CONTRACT 2 This is an ongoing program, with no limits on the earning potential over time. 3 The Solar CAB: Lead Bonuses will be paid with monthly commissions once the referred Customer s home has been qualified and they have received a solar proposal from Viridian. 4 The Solar CAB: Contract Bonuses will be paid with monthly commissions once the referred Customer has signed a solar agreement and their home has been approved for installation. See the Sustainable Compensation Education Guide, effective February 15, 2015 for further details. 5 The cumulative number of Solar Leads submitted during the same CAB period (one calendar month) and of those, how many qualify determines the Solar Lead and Solar Contract CAB payouts; not the number of Lead or Contract qualifications that occur during a given month. Therefore CAB periods cannot be combined. 4

1 USA Solar Programs Make your business SHINE BRIGHT WITH Building a sustainable business with Viridian Solar is both simple and lucrative but if you want to know how the pros do it, here are a few things to keep in mind. Pre-qualification is key! Most homes in Viridian solar markets will be eligible for solar, but to make sure you have the most qualified leads, ask your leads these simple questions: 1. Do you own your home? 2. Is your monthly electricity bill over $100? 3. Does some or all of the roof of your home receive a lot of sun without too much shade from trees? If the answers are yes to all three, then your lead may be a great candidate to lower their energy bills with Viridian Solar. Host an event! Earning big with solar is a numbers game and lead-gathering parties or setting up a kiosk at local events are great ways to get many leads at once. Increase your earning potential by MENTORING YOUR TEAM Mentor Bonus (MB) Who gets paid? What do I do? Why? How it works! The Personal Sponsor (Mentor) of the Solar CAB earning Associate and upteam mentors defined below 7 Duplicate the path by sponsoring and teaching new Associates 8 that you add to your organization how to earn their Solar CABs. These are called your Personally Sponsored Associates (PSAs). As their Personal Sponsor, you are also showing them the Mentor Bonus (MB) by earning the bonuses yourself and laying the foundation for your business. As you build your organization, you are creating an income stream that is a direct result of the actions of your PSAs increasing your financial rewards, while helping others do the same. You earn a Mentor Bonus on each Qualified Solar Lead & Qualified Solar Contract your PSAs acquire each calendar month. You can earn Upteam Sponsor Bonuses as well for assisting new Associates in your downteam coach their PSAs. DID YOU KNOW? Consultant (CN) & above 10 Advance your career path by achieving the Rank of Consultant for the first time simply by earning your Solar CABs and empower two of your PSAs to do the same during your first 8 weeks. The rank of Consultant is the foundational building block of a viable organization you will want many of them! The sooner you achieve this rank, and support your PSAs in doing the same, you will move into a position to start unlocking more levels of compensation available in Viridian s Sustainable Compensation Plan. Growing your organization with Viridian is about consistently practicing business building behaviors. A fast start along the Viridian Career Path begins with the steps you ll take toward success that are outlined in your Duplic8 Process guide (in your Resource kit, or right in your Back Office). Your reward for living the process every day is your Rank Advancement Bonus. 9 The cumulative number of leads submitted during the same CAB period (one calendar month) determines the Lead & Contract Mentor Bonus payout values; not the number of lead or contract qualifications that occur during a given month. Therefore CAB periods cannot be combined. 10 You must reach the rank of Consultant (CN) or above in the first 8 weeks to receive the Consultant-specific RAB. 7
