Air from within the room is forced out by the compressor driven ventilators. Part of this air recirculates inside the room for winterization purposes.
Our activities: consulting engineering and design assembly supply commissioning service and maintenance support Instrument air by Geveke: In many industrial applications and installations air is used for both process and utility applications. Based on the requirement for free air delivered and air purity at maximum working pressure, different compressor designs represent the optimum solution. Geveke supplies air compressor packages based on centrifugal, screw (oil-lubricated as well as oil-free), vane and piston type compressors. These compressors will be packaged together with dryers, filters, oil/water separators, level controlled condensate drains and dew point control equipment. The resulting package will give you the best and most efficient solution to your requirements. The packages can be designed for indoors and outdoors, onshore and offshore, zone 2 and zone 1 execution. Containerized packages in standard 10, 20 and 40 foot containers are available. Schoonebeek oilfield development - multiple systems: Capacity : 18 x 25 Nm3/h, 10 barg, pdp -40 C Power : 18 x 5,5 kw Location : Onshore - Indoor ATEX 95 : Safe area Application: The oil is produced from 18 different well-sites in the Schoonebeek area. Each site has it s own instrument air generation facility to ensure safe and continuous operation over the years. The same applies to the air intake filters that protect the compressors internals from particles and dust in the air. For standard land application, the normal filters are well suited for the required duty. In an (ATEX) oil & gas application, the filters are made explosion proof in a stainless steel enclosure. The standard filter elements will still fit the construction ensuring maintainability and factory backup services of the systems created by Geveke. Custom built installations: This example shows how Geveke converts manufacturer s standard equipment to meet the technical requirements for the oil & gas industry. This desiccant dryer unit with filtration (red filter houses) is converted in such a way that it s design life meets the requirements. The standard dryer control, suitable for the standard industry, is converted and protected from the harsh conditions it is confronted with on a gas production platform on the North Sea.

Downstream the turbo compressor the air is treated for the various production steps as follows: - Flow 1: Untreated hot air @ 90 C - Flow 2: Air separation units making nitrogen - Flow 3: Plant air dried to pdp +3 C - Flow 4: Process air class 2.2.2. (pressure dewpoint of -40 C). Some examples we have done over the years: - CNG Compressed Natural Gas Bus (public transport) filling stations, - The low and medium pressure installations of glass bottle mills, - Compressed air installations in the food and pharmaceutical industry, - Installations for medical and laboratory applications. Biogas compressors (Bio)gas compression Compressing gases is a physical abstract process. It becomes interesting when we get to know the applications in which gas compression is used. A new source of energy, is biogas. The word biogas stimulates our imagination, it has a green image to it. Biogas is an alternative source of energy with high potential in the world around us. More and more initiative is taken in the generation of so called second generation biomass. From our organic waste (house holds, sewage sludge, manure and agricultural waste) we can make new energy by converting it in a digester. Biogas compressors: Our range of oil free piston compressors for biogas is designed to meet the following technical data: - Medium: Biogas (clean and raw) - Capacity: up to 200 kw - 1.500 Nm3/h per unit - Pressure: up to 85 bar (3-stage unit) - Application: Biogas purification and injection. From the start (digestion) to the point where we can actually use the energy a lot of technology and production steps are required. Logistics, waist handling, digesting plants, cleaning and purifying the biogas, injecting the gas into the national gas grid so that it can be reused in industry or to heat our houses. In this production chain Geveke gas compressors are used to: - Boost the gas from the digesters for further treatment and cleaning, - Compress biogas to turbines where it can be converted to green electricity, - Compress biogas into the national gas grid making green gas available. Hydrogen compression: Hydrogen is a light and highly explosive gas to handle. We find however more and more applications where this gas is used as an alternative green energy source. If you think of the electricity produced by wind during the night is converted into hydrogen, the abstract need to compress this gas becomes touchable. If you compress hydrogen to higher pressures for transport and storage, you can imagine the potential for it in our normal life in cars and public transport (fuel cell technology).
