Milcamps, 80 years of waffles 1932 Joseph Milcamps founds the Milcamps waffle company in Brussels. The company manufactures Liège fruit-filled waffles, and distributes them to local schools and delicatessens. 1980 The renowned Milcamps expands and its sales widen to traditional distribution chains. Sales soon extend beyond our borders. 1998 Launch of the soft artisanal butter galette range. 1999 Arrival of Granny Waffle, a real Flemish speciality (B). 2001 Installation of a new high-performance production line for frozen Belgian waffles. 2004 BRC certification. 2007 IFS certification. Acquisition of a second production site in Dour (B). 2008 Integration of Milcamps in the Jacquet group, member of the Limagrain group, a French farming cooperative situated in Auvergne, and the fourth largest seed manufacturer in the world. 2009 Integration of the Le Breton crêperie by the Jacquet group. Reinforcement of the range with a wider selection of products in industrial patisserie. 2010 Launch in France of waffles with Jacquet brand, among them the Tendre Délice range. Launch in Belgium of a range of waffles with the Jacquet Recette Milcamps brand, for bakery/patisserie shelves in supermarkets. 2011 Merger of two great bread/patisserie companies, Jacquet and Brossard, under one name: Jacquet-Brossard. Waffles, brownies, cakes and pancakes constitute a strong gourmet pillar at the core of the development strategy of the new group. 2012 Ambitions run high, with big plans for international development. 2013 Migration in France from Jacquet to Brossard brand with the launch of a new range «La Gaufre» and an innovative waffle «Savane». And the Milcamps waffles continue their exciting adventure...
