The New BANKOMATIKO (MAESTRO) smart card is an upgraded version of the current Bankomatiko card. The card has a new design and an EMV* certified chip containing a microprocessor providing you with additional security when making your transactions. The Bankomatiko smart card makes use of the EMV* certified payment software that s being implemented around the world. The Bankomatiko smart card will use the microchip when used on a chipenabled payment terminal or ATM. However the card is also equipped with the magnetic stripe on the back to guarantee acceptance everywhere. Your existing PIN will also continue to work with the new Bankomatiko smart card. On top of it you will earn FunMiles with every purchase made in St. Maarten, Curacao, Aruba and BES islands. If you have questions visit www.wib-bank.net or call our BankCard Services Department at +599 542 3422. To make a transaction using the chip on the card**: 1 The cashier (or you) inserts your Bankomatiko smart card into the chip reader 2 The cashier will enter the amount 3 You confirm the amount 4 You select checking or savings account 5 You enter the PIN, and 6 Leave your card in the terminal until it tells you to remove the card. * EMV: Europay MasterCard and Visa International created a new standard called EMV, which ensures that all Europay, MasterCard, Maestro and Visa branded smart cards and all smart card reading terminals work together to deliver global interoperability and enhanced security. ** The steps mentioned are applicable to chip-enabled payment terminals worldwide. A chip-enabled point of sale terminal will always request to insert the card when swiped. However to guarantee worldwide acceptance you will still be able to swipe your card at terminals that are not chip-enabled using the magnetic stripe on the back of your card. 1

IMPORTANT Help us protect you By practicing these simple rules below, you can reduce the opportunity for misuse of your BANKOMATIKO, Kompa Leon, Visa, MasterCard and WIB American Express Cards. 1. Always remember to sign your card on the back (where indicated) as soon as you receive a new one. Destroy your old cards by cutting them in half, thus making it impossible for anyone else to misuse them. 2. Protect your Pin-code at all times. Never write down your PIN (Personal Identification Number ) code anywhere or record it in a palm pilot or any other electronic organizer. Instead, memorize it and never disclose this secret number to anyone. 3. Always remember to get your card back after each transaction, especially at stores/restaurants and when you are traveling. There has been a sharp increase in fraud in which the card was not returned or skimmed (copied). 4. When using your card at a store or an ATM, always make sure that nobody can see you keying in your pin number. Be extremely aware of people looking over your shoulders or standing behind you. Also be very aware of the too friendly helpers at an ATM, who pretend to help you, while their sole intention is to get your pin number. 5. Report the theft of a card or lost card immediately. Most frauds, involving stolen cards, occur in the first few hours after the robbery. If there is a theft please obtain a Police report. Our Bank has a convenient 24/7 service available to its customers for reporting lost/stolen cards. During office hours please call (599) 542-3422 and after office hours (599-9) 466 0800. 6. When traveling keep your cards in your care at all times. Keep them secured in a safe place and treat them as if they were cash. Tip: write down the card number and bank telephone number on a separate secured paper. 8

7. Never give away your card number to telephone or internet vendors if the transaction was not initiated by yourself. Use sound judgment when providing your card number to telephone or internet vendors and do this only if you feel the company is trustworthy and the information is transmitted via a secured site. 8. Reconcile your transactions daily via WIB s online services; WIB@Home (access to personal Accounts). 9. Reconcile your statements each month. Make sure all transactions are accounted for and if not contact the Bank immediately. 10. Keep these important telephone numbers handy: During banking hours: WIB BankCard Services: (599) 542-3422 After banking hours: (599-9) 466-0800 Procesa Panama (507) 263-7922 Toll free in U.S.A 1-800-782-3201 SWALLOWED CARD Your BANKOMATIKO card will automatically be swallowed by the BANKOMATIKO for the following reasons: 1. To retrieve your swallowed BANKOMATIKO card during business hours, simply contact the nearest Information Service Officer (ISO) at any of our branches or use the emergency phone located inside the BANKOMATIKO.
