Please read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Your child s safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions. DO NOT install a product other than an infant car seat onto this unit. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. NEVER leave child unattended. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use infant car seat safety harness and ensure that infant is positioned according to the infant car seat instructions. Be certain that the stroller is fully opened and the wheel brakes are on before mounting infant car seat. ALWAYS be certain that the car seat is locked into place and fully secured on its adapter prior to using the stroller. DO NOT exceed the weight limits recommended by the infant car seat manufacturer. Use of the stroller with an infant in the infant car seat weighing more than 35 lbs(15.88 kg) will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition. Never use this stroller to carry more than one infant car seat. Do not use the stroller on stairways or escalators. Do not add any attachment not specifically recommended by Joovy. Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the stroller. Hanging purses, shopping bags, parcels, changing bags or other accessory items from handle bars or any other parts of the stroller may change the balance of the stroller and cause a hazardous unstable condition. The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 5 lbs(2.27 kg) Excessive weight may result in a hazardous unstable condition. This stroller is not suitable for running or skating. Never allow your stroller to be used as a toy. Discard all packaging materials properly. Do not allow children to play with them. Check your stroller for loose rivets, snaps, worn parts, and torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Discontinue use of the stroller should it malfunction or become damaged. If you have a question regarding these instructions, please contact our Customer Service Department at customerservice@joovy.com or your local distributor. To locate your local distributor, go to www.joovy.com/locator.aspx. 1 Unpacking the Product Remove everything from the box and identify the parts using Figure 1.1. (not to scale) A: stroller, B: 2 infant car seat adapters (1 Graco and 1 Peg Perego ), C: rear wheel assembly, D: parent tray, E: 2 front wheel sets, F: rear basket frame tube (located in the rear fabric sleeve of basket), and documents (not shown). Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings. DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials. 2 Unfolding Keep children away from stroller while unfolding. Release the folding lock located on the right side by lifting the lever off of the extended rivet. See Figure 2.1. Lift up on the handle of the stroller until the frame snaps into its locked position. CAUTION: While unfolding the stroller, be careful to keep your fingers from being pinched by moving parts. Locate the rear basket frame tube located in the rear fabric sleeve of the basket. Line up the open ends of the rear basket frame tube with the tapered ends of the basket frame and insert them until the rear basket frame tube snaps securely into place. See Figure 2.2. Locate the 4 snaps on the front of the basket fabric. Wrap the basket fabric around the front frame tube and secure all 4 snaps. See Figure 2.3. 4 Installing Front Wheels! Adult assembly is required for this product. No tools required. ALWAYS keep children away from stroller when unfolding. 3 Installing the Rear Wheel Assembly Turn the stroller upside down with the rear legs facing upwards. Locate the rear wheel assembly and slide it onto the rear legs with the brakes facing the rear of the stroller. Be sure to slide each side all the way in until the push pins are engaged. See Figure 3.1. NOTE: You may need to push each of the push pins in to slide the assembly into place. Pull upward on each side of the rear axle to ensure it is installed properly. Place the front wheel sets onto the front wheel posts until they click in place. See Figure 4.1. Pull on the wheel sets to ensure they are installed properly. Page 1 Roo Instruction Manual

5 Front Wheel Locks The front wheels can be set to swivel or lock. To lock the front wheels, rotate each wheel set so that it points forward. Pull up on the red locking lever to engage the swivel lock. See Figure 5.1. To unlock the wheels (swivel mode) push down on the lever. 6 Rear Wheel Brakes Always engage rear brakes before placing an infant car seat or removing an infant car seat from the stroller. To engage the brakes, push down on BOTH of the red brake levers until the brake snaps in place. See Figure 6.1. Check that BOTH wheel brakes are properly engaged. To release the brakes, lift up on BOTH brake levers. See Figure 6.2. Always make sure BOTH wheel brakes are engaged when stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not roll away. Never leave stroller unattended, especially on a hill or incline, as the stroller may tip over or slide. 7 Installing the Parent Tray Position the two hooks on the parent tray so that they fit over the rear frame bar below the handle bar. Align the holes of the parent tray with the push pins on the frame bar and be sure these pins pop into the holes on both hooks. Check to be sure the tray is secure. See Figure 7.1. 8 Installing the Infant Car Seat Adapters This stroller is compatible with Chicco, Graco, and Peg Perego infant car seats. Identify the infant car seat adapters by the affixed labels. The Chicco seats mount directly onto the stroller frame and DO NOT require an adapter. NOTE: For all of the following installations, the instructions assume that you are standing behind the stroller s handlebar. Chicco Infant Car Seats NOTE: You DO NOT need an adapter for Chicco infant car seats. The Chicco infant car seat should be positioned onto the frame so that it is facing toward the LEFT. Lower the infant car seat into the frame until it clicks into place. See Figure 8.1. Pull up on infant car seat to ensure it is secure. To remove the infant car seat, pull the release lever (the same lever used to release the car seat from their base) and lift up. Graco and Peg Perego Infant Car Seats Installation for these infant car seats requires additional adapters that attach to the built-in brackets. The Graco adapter includes molded guides. See Figure 8.2. The Peg Perego adapter is the one WITHOUT any guides. See Figure 8.3. The built-in brackets have holes on the RIGHT side. Position the adapter with the bend of the adapter facing down and insert each leg of the adapter into the holes of the built-in brackets. Push each leg fully into its bracket until they click into place. See Figure 8.4. Pull on each leg of the adapter to ensure they are secured into position. Lower the infant car seat into frame section until it clicks into place. The infant car seat should be positioned onto the frame so that it is facing toward the RIGHT. See Figure 8.5 and 8.6. Pull up on infant car seat to ensure it is secure. To remove the infant car seat, pull the release lever (the same lever used to release the car seat from their base) and lift up. Always make sure the child is properly buckled into the infant car seat. Use of the stroller with infant in the infant car seat weighing more than 35 lbs(15.88 kg) will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
