CSSA Secondary State Touch Football Gala Day 2015 Date: Venue: Registration: Starting Time: Finishing Time: Friday 27 March 2015 BCU International Stadium Coffs Harbour (stadium Drive off Hogbin Drive) 8.15am Registration and Team Managers Meeting Games start at 8.30am Approx 3.30 pm Accommodation: Teams are welcome to stay at Coffs Harbour CCS the night before. There are also plenty of motels & YHA in Coffs Harbour. Please contact Coffs CCHS Head of Sport Dave Sochon via EMAIL if you require accommodation. In the email please include numbers of students, adults and required rooms. David Sochon: David.Sochon@coffsccs.nsw.edu.au Divisions: * Boys & Girls Intermediate 15yrs & under (Turning 15 in 2015 and Under) * Boys & Girls Senior - Open Teams: Teams MUST be zone based Maximum 12 players per team Cost: $120 + GST per team. Zone teams MUST nominate which school will be billed for their zone team entries. The nominated school will be billed for all their zone team entries at the end of Term 1. Entries: Entries close Monday 16 March 2015 Schools will be invoices at the end of Term 1 CSSA Sports Account T1 2015 based on team entries as of Monday 16 March 2015 Note: Late withdrawals AFTER this date WILL BE charged the entry fee Referees All Zones MUST bring: ONE referee if entering 2 teams TWO referees if entering 4 teams Please contact Michael Capilli if your are having difficulty in supplying referees Referees will be rostered on different games throughout the day. Coffs Touch Association Referees will be in attendance to assist with refereeing.

Individuals cannot attend CIS Trials. Therefore the CSSA Touch Football Gala Day will be used to select the following CSSA Teams which will compete at the CIS Touch Football GD on Tuesday 2 June 2015 at Penrith Touch Fields, Werrington. 15&U Girls 15&U Boys Open Girls Open Boys Each team will consist of 12 players with 2 shadow players. CSSA Secondary Touch Football Teams 2015 Player Cost Students who make the CSSA Touch Football team will be required to pay a $50 admin levy PLUS purchase a CSSA Rep players shirt: $44, Shorts: $25 & Socks: $15 which they will be able to keep. If you already have any part of the uniform, you do not need to re- purchase it again Please ensure that ALL players attending the CSSA Touch Football GD are aware of the additional costs if selected into the CSSA team

GAME INFORMATION: RULES: 20 minutes Turnaround (no half time, change direction after each try) 6 players on the field Squad of 12 players maximum Drop Off will only be used in the event of a draw in the Finals Games will start on time weather teams ready or not NSW Touch Association Rules. Each player must wear a number, in order to assist the selectors for easy identification by CSSA selectors. 1 ST AID: A qualified 1 st Trainer will be in attendance. However each team is required to have their own 1 st Aid kit POINT SCORE: Win = 3 points Draw = 2 points Loss = 1 point In the event of a tie in point score least points against will determine winner, as per CSSA Handbook. WET WEATHER: CSSA TEAM SELECTION: TEAM SHEETS: In the event of wet weather leading up to the carnival. Please call Michael Capilli on M: 0414 999 103 for wet weather information. All students must be numbered and number must correspond with number of team sheet. Several selectors will be watching games throughout the day, however coaches are asked to aid in nominating players from opposing teams, in case selectors miss such students. If you notice an outstanding player from an opposing team please complete the nomination form and hand into announcer s room. This will aid in the process of players playing in the Possibles vs Probables Game. Zone Managers please accurately complete 1 Team Sheet per team, as these will be used to charge the student their trial fee which will be billed to school via CSSA Term 1 Sports Account. The Team Sheet will also indicate which students are wishing to trial for the CSSA Teams Please complete team sheets by Wednesday 18 March 2015 and email to Michael Capilli: michaelc@sccollege.nsw.edu.au
