E3000-0 Three Phase Multi-function Meter The E3000-0 is a 3P4W multifunctional energy meters. It adopts the advanced technology of LSI (Large Scale Integrated circuit) and digital signal processing. The user interface is on the meter cover, and the D0 interface is at the low side of the meter. The configuration of these two ports is 9600bps, 8N. The D0 interface is used to communicate with the E3000-0 KM. The cycle for the pushing period is two seconds. If the E3000-0 KM sends one connection message to the E3000-0 BM, the E3000-0 BM will start pushing data at once. Otherwise, the E3000-0 BM will send data to the E3000-0 KM every 40 seconds in order to detect whether there s E3000-0 KM present. The user can get or set any supported information from the meter via user optical interface. Digit signature The meter use digit signature for communication data, this crypto algorithm is ECC with 92 bits. The hash value is calculated with SHA-256, FIPS 80-2. The high 24 Bytes of the hash value are used for signature calculation. So the data is very safety and steady when it communication and transmission. Display The meter use dot matrix LCD, and it s with backlight. The meter with the display mode of standard, standard backlight, request, service, dial test, and under each display mode, it have it s own display item and display interval. When the data item displayed, it with OBIS code, unit, and other information. Real time clock The super capacitor can supply 7 days in minimum after at least 24 hours of operation of the meter. The accuracy of the real time is better than 0.5s/day at 20 C environment temperature. When the super capacitor elapsed the clock is set to the time at power failure. The calendar support from the year 2000 to the year 2099, the DST function can be enabled or disabled. For the communication interface, E3000-0 BM also supports the timestamp in the Unix time format.
