You should consider whether you want to wait or use the Outlook Web Access (OWA) to avoid these minor problems. 1. Log onto the PC with your normal HP Windows user name and password (e.g., EMEA\ssmith). 2. Start Microsoft Outlook. If you have never used Microsoft Outlook on the PC before, you may be prompted to enter your email account details. You should now be able to read and send emails as normal. You may not be able to access saved messages, however, if you had been using local Personal Folders (.pst files) until those.pst files are restored by PC Backup. Note: You may temporarily see pop-up messages that your Personal Folders cannot be found if you start Microsoft Outlook before your Personal Folder (.pst) files are restored by PC Backup. These messages should disappear after you have restored all your data. Click OK or Cancel to close the pop-up messages. Outlook Web Access (OWA) You can use Microsoft s Outlook Web Access (OWA) to access your Exchange mailbox from inside the HP network or from the public Internet. The web link you should use to access OWA depends on whether you are connected to the HP network or not: If you are connected to the HP network either at an HP office or remotely via VPN go to https://webmail.hp.com/owa. If you are not connected to the HP network, go to https://mail.extranet.hp.com/owa. Note: Use from the public internet requires a DigitalBadge, class B or class A. To obtain a DigitalBadge (class B or class A), see the DigitalBadge website at http://digitalbadge.hp.com. You can use most web browsers to access OWA, although some features such as spell check and personal distribution lists are available only when you use OWA via Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer, OWA looks and feels very similar to Outlook 2007. HP Restricted 27
