This alloy needs a controlled quench to avoid the weakening of the brazed joint. It has a low melting range and excellent flow characteristics. Main areas of usage: when a low melting point is necessary (weak tenor in zinc); where cadmium bearing alloys are not permitted; when the colour (white) improves the visual appearance (like stainless steels) Suitable in closely fitting joints as able to penetrate tight gaps. Its fluidity together with its very close melting range makes it suited for delicate assemblies with tight clearances. Lap joints are recommended. To be used with AG-FLUX as flux coated rods, when brazing in open atmospheric conditions. - Bare rods in Ø 1,5-2 - 2,5-3 mm, while Flux coated rods (standard colour: Pink) Ø1,5 and 2 mm, standard length 500 mm.
