On to Faces - Preprocessing Integer to float conversion Converts 256 gray levels to singlefloats Geometric Normalization Aligns human chosen eye coordinates Masking Crop with elliptical mask leaving only face visible. Histogram Equalization Histogram equalizes unmasked pixels: 256 levels.
