Specific Objectives: Students will be introduced to the TCP/IP process and how information travels from a web server to the client computer. Students will understand the process involved in acquiring a domain name for a website. Students will know about the different operating systems and software requirements. Students will participate in the process of selecting a domain name and web hosting; they will know what to look for when selecting a web site host. Students will be exposed to the process of uploading files to a web server.
