Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Residency Program

Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery helps patients restore form and function that have been compromised. From the Program Director From face to body; upper extremity to lower extremity, the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery helps patients restore form and function that have been compromised due to trauma, accident, illness or aging. The satisfaction and joy we get from each patient s recovery is tangible and immense. When you join our department as a Resident, you become part of a passionate team of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, each striving to provide the best outcome for our patients. The foundational two years in Surgery-in-General provides a seamless track to specialist training, where you gain a strong grounding in the fundamentals of surgical science and practice, prior to entering four years of Advanced Training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr Ong Yee Siang Program Director Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Our comprehensive program has been carefully crafted and coordinated by the team, and you can expect a structured curriculum with regular formative assessments and timely feedback. It encompasses in-depth clinical material, ranging from Pediatric Craniofacial conditions in KK Women s and Children s Hospital (KKH) to Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Burns in Singapore General Hospital (SGH). This rich clinical case mix together with our strong Faculty and long heritage in postgraduate medical education will ensure that you will receive excellent training here. We look forward to welcoming you to the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery team.
