1.0 Logging into EM Corporate Systems Step 1: Go to the DOE EM Corporate Systems login screen: https://ipabsis.em.doe.gov/doe.em.corp/. Step 2: Enter a valid User Name and Password and then select the Log in button as shown in Figure 1 below. The DOE Security Notice screen will display. Figure 2: DOE Security Notice Screen Step 4: The System Login screen, shown in Figure 3 below, will display showing buttons that link to the various systems to which the user has access. 2.0 Edit Account Information Step 1: After logging into EM Corp, select the Corp Account hyperlink shown in Figure 4 below. The Edit User screen will display. Figure 5: The Edit Button Step 3: Make any necessary changes to the editable fields on the User Details screen, highlighted in Figure 6 below. Edit Account Information 3
Figure 6: Editable Fields on User Details Tab Note: The Change Password and Set Security Question Tabs are available to all users within EM Corp. Step 4: Select the Save button. The User Details screen will display in read-only mode with the changes reflected. Select the Cancel button to cancel edits and return to the read-only User Details screen. Note: To change your Account Type, Report Roles, or access to any of the EM Corporate Systems, contact the IPABS Help Desk at ipabssupport@em.doe.gov or (571) 282-6524. Edit Account Information 4
3.0 Change Password Step 1: After logging into EM Corp, select the Corp Account hyperlink. The User Details screen will display. Step 2: Select the Edit button. The Edit User screen will display. Step 3: Select the Change Password tab as shown in Figure 7 below. Figure 7: Change Password Tab Step 4: The user will enter their current password in the Current password field. The new password should be entered in the New password and Confirm new password fields. These fields are shown in Figure 8. Change Password 5
Figure 8: Password Fields Step 5: Select the Save button, highlighted in Figure 8 above. A window, shown in Figure 9 below, will display confirming that the new password was successfully changed. Figure 9: Change Password Confirmation Window Change Password 6
4.0 Security Questions Security questions allow users to reset their own passwords without contacting the Help Desk. Instructions to set your security question and answer are below. Step 1: After logging into EM Corp, select the Corp Account hyperlink. The User Details screen will display. Step 2: Select the Edit button. The Edit User screen will display. Step 3: Select the Set Security Question tab, as shown in Figure 10. Figure 10: Security Question Tab Step 4: Select one of the options in the Security Question drop down. Enter an answer for the chosen security question in the Security Answer field. Both fields are displayed in Figure 11 below. Security Questions 7
NOTE: The Security Answer field is NOT case sensitive and must be at least one character. EM Corp will not indicate which security question was selected when attempting to reset a password. A window, shown in Figure 12 below, will display confirming that the new security question and answer were successfully changed. 5.0 Reset Password The Reset Password function allows users to reset their current or expired passwords. If the user sets a security question and answer for their account, they can reset their own password by following the steps below. Step 1: Select the Forgot Your Password hyperlink on the DOE EM Corporate Systems Login screen as shown in Figure 13. The Forgot Password screen will display. Step 2: Enter the required fields shown in Figure 14 below. Figure 14: Forgot Password Screen Step 3: Select the Log in button. The user will be directed to the DOE Security Notice screen once the password is successfully changed. Selecting the Cancel button will return the user to the DOE EM Corporate Systems Login screen. 6.0 User Profile Change Notifications All EM Corporate users will receive notifications of changes to their EM Corporate account after they occur. Users will be notified through an automated email upon the topics below: Account Creation Account Disabled Account Re-enabled Password Change Updates to user information including: First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, Security Question/Answer, and Email Digest EM Corp User Roles NOTE: If multiple changes to an account occur within less than 15 minutes, the notifications will be grouped into one email, as displayed in Figure 15 below. Please contact the IPABS Help Desk immediately if you ever believe that you have received a Profile Change Notification email in error. An example of a Profile Change Notification email is displayed below in Figure 15. Figure 15: Profile Change Email Profile Change Notifications 11
7.0 Limited Administrators Limited Administrator (Limited Admin) users are able to view, search, create, and edit information for Basic users within EM Corp. 7.1 Viewing and Searching User Accounts Step 1: After logging into EM Corp, select the User Management button, highlighted in Figure 16 below. The User summary screen will display. Figure 16: System Login Screen NOTE: Limited Admin users are able to view all user accounts within EM Corp User Management. Limited Administrators 12
Step 2: Enter a username, first name, or last name in the Search Filter field, highlighted in Figure 17 below. Figure 17: User Summary Screen Step 3: Select the Search button to display results. To clear the search filter, select the Clear Filters button. Limited Administrators 13
6.2 Account Creation Step 1: Access the User Summary screen. Step 2: Select the Create User button, highlighted below in Figure 18. The Create User screen will display. Figure 19: Create User Screen Step 4: Select the Save button. The New User window will display with the user s temporary password as shown below in Figure 20. Selecting the Cancel or Back to User List buttons will return the user to the User Summary Screen. Figure 20: New User Temporary Password Window Limited Administrators 15
6.3 Editing Account Information Step 1: Access the User Summary screen. Step 2: Select a username hyperlink, highlighted below in Figure 21. The User Details screen will display for the selected user. Figure 21: Selecting a User Step 3: Select the Edit button highlighted in Figure 22 below. The Edit User screen will display. Figure 23: Edit User Screen Step 5: Select the Save button. Selecting the Cancel button will clear any edits and return the user to the User Details Screen. Limited Administrators 17
