The keypad enables you to fully manage and interact with the system. This means you can place the bigger control unit in a less noticeable position. THE ADVANTAGES OF HOME S No connection to the electrical mains No blackout or false alarm Home Shield is based on wireless technology. Therefore, thanks to its battery power supply, the alarm system is independent of the electrical mains: no risk of blackouts or false alarms due to lightning or other electrical phenomena, which could compromise efficient operation of the anti-theft system. Radio transmission at double frequency Operation always guaranteed Double frequency radio transmission ( and 868 MHz) provides a further guarantee of reliability. By using two different radio frequencies, it ensures continuous transmission of the alarm message: if one of the two frequencies is disturbed by interference, the other frequency - distinct and independent - is immediately used to guarantee correct operation without risk of any unforeseen events. Built-in telephone dial Guaranteed security wherever you are The control unit, which is connected to the telephone line, can contact up to different telephone numbers ( attempts on each one) to reach the user in different locations and inform him/her about the attempted intrusion into his/her home. But that's not all: at any time, by a simple telephone call, you can remotely enable/disable the alarm, and thanks to the "talk/listen" function, you can be in direct contact with the home environment. The system has a -year autonomy, with prior warning of low battery charge Alkaline batteries, easy to obtain and at low cost The system is designed to guarantee a -year autonomy in average use conditions. The special "discharge curve", typical of alkaline batteries, makes it possible to inform the user one month before the battery is fully discharged, also indicating which component of the system is concerned. Alkaline batteries - so easy to get hold of - can be replaced directly without any problem.

INTRUSION DETECTORS HRM INFRARED MOVEMENT DETECTOR The detector with passive infrared rays detects the presence of a human body, in the room where it is fitted, according to the temperature change introduced into the room by body heat. DOUBLE-TECHNOLOGY MOVEMENT DETECTOR (MICROWAVES + INFRARED RAYS) HRM2 These intrusion detectors combine the passive infrared ray technology with microwave technology thus compensating for the application limits of traditional detectors (e.g.: heat sources in the detection field). HRA OPENING DETECTOR WITH MAGNETIC CONTACT Can be installed on doors and windows, enabling activation of a peripheral protection even if persons remain in the domestic environment. HRV GLASS BREAKAGE PIEZOMETRIC DETECTOR It comprises a transmitter unit and a piezoelectric sensor for fitting on the glass panel. Able to detect breakage of windows and French windows, with glass thickness of up to 60 mm. HRT ROLLER-SHUTTERS DETECTOR Can be installed on any rolling structure (e.g.: roller-shutters) and consists of a transmitter unit and a wire sensor which detects attempts to lift the shutter. DANGER DETECTORS HRAL FLOODING DETECTOR Comprises a transmitter unit and a probe able to detect the presence of water or other non-inflammable liquids. HRF OPTICAL SMOKE DETECTOR The smoke detector is designed to identify the start of a slowly developing fire. In addition to signalling the danger to the control unit, the device has a built-in signalling LED and a buzzer. 8
THE ACCESSORIES HRR POWER-CUT DETECTOR The detector is a socket into which the electrical plug of the element to be controlled (e.g.: freezer) is fitted. The device detects long power-cuts (more than half an hour). PERSONAL EMERGENCY HSOS EMERGENCY CALL PANIC BUTTON A handy portable transmitter enables a person in difficulty to send automatically a rescue request call, by pressing the SOS push-button. ACOUSTIC SIGNALS HSE EXTERNAL SIREN The system's dissuasion element. Intrusion into the property commands an immediate acoustic signal for a time of 90 s. The siren also provides an alarm ON/OFF acoustic signal. HSL EXTERNAL SIREN WITH FLASHING-LIGHT The presence of a built-in flashing light, combines a visual signal with the acoustic signal to identify the place where housebreaking has occurred. HIS INDOOR SIREN The siren is already built into the alarm control unit as a standard item, but if you wish to increase the 'panic' effect inside the house (e.g.: houses on several levels) this further siren (05 db) can be used for internal application. 20 v POWER SUPPLY KIT + BATTERY FOR EXTERNAL SIREN If the siren is installed in a not easy to access position, making it difficult to replace the batteries, the kit makes it possible to directly power the siren and to have a lead battery which makes the signal active even in case of an electrical power-cut. SIREN BATTERY KIT The siren is the only system element which is supplied standard with a personalised battery pack (six LR20 alkaline batteries sealed in series). We advise you to use this accessory to replace the batteries. 9
THE ACCESSORIES CONTROL DEVICES TRANSMITTERS DL2/DL 868 SLH Small and handy, the transmitters make it possible to activate and disable the alarm system from inside or outside the home. The -channel transmitter also enables you to control the additional services (e.g.: lights, automatic gate). RADIO KEYPAD 868 SLH The keypad can be installed on a wall. By typing in a 5-digit secret code, you can turn the alarm ON/OFF and control an additional service (e.g.: automatic gate). The keypad also has a 'spare' command to rapidly control, for example, a courtesy light. RECEIVER PLUS 868 The receiver should be used when you wish to control also an additional service, from the DL transmitter or from the radio keypad 868. SLH DECODER The decoding board should be used combined with receiver PLUS 88 SLH. It has a relay output for piloting an additional service (e.g.: automatic gate, garden lights). ACCESSORIES TO COMPLETE THE SYSTEM HRS SIGNAL REPEATER This accessory makes it possible to complete installations in very spacious places or if it is difficult to obtain complete coverage on a radio frequency (e.g.: houses on several levels). The device can also be used to render remote alarm ON/OFF or active signals, or to notify electric power cuts. HSS SYSTEM STATUS SIGNAL RECEIVER A receiver, with direct 20V power supply, which makes it possible to render remote alarm ON/OFF signals. The accessory also enables you to control additional services if necessary or to do this automatically when a housebreaking event is detected (e.g. lighting). 0
