GENERAL requirements Entry Requirements IB Diploma applicant Full diploma consistent, all-round performance (E.g. between Level 4 and 7 in ALL six subjects). Credit transfer in IB HL subjects at university s discretion. ID applicant Check with individual university / faculty. Some universities don t take BTEC / vocational qualifications (E.g. McGill, UBC and Toronto) ALL applicants - Check SPECIFIC programme requirements (E.g. Toronto: IB Maths SL or HL and two IB sciences (Physics and Chemistry) are required for Engineering; McGill: IB Maths, Biology and Chemistry for Nutrition Science. Math Studies is NOT accepted for Commerce at UBC). - Can submit good SAT/ACT scores (E.g. Toronto: expected SAT range: 1800+, ACT: 28+). - IELTS (6.5) or TOEFL (E.g. Toronto: TOEFL ibt 100+) is typically required from those with English as a second language.

Applying to Ontario Universities - OUAC From September, students create an OUAC www.ouac.on.ca account to apply to universities (can apply up to 3 courses for each university except University of Toronto). The account is good for applying to ANY entry point (Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer) in the SAME application year.
