Tamini operates through four manufacturing plants in Northern Italy. Production of a broad range of specialised transformers is fully integrated among the four Italian factories. Melegnano - This is the historical headquarters of the company where, starting in 1950, Tamini contributed to the post-war reconstruction of Italy and the industrialisation which was the foundation of the Italian economic boom. The plant has been renovated and developed according to the highest technological standards. - Specialised in the production of medium-sized transformers (up to 150 MVA) intended for special and industrial use. - Total surface area of 11,000 m 2. Legnano - Specialised in large-scale products (up to 765 kv and 1,000 MVA, with unit weight which can reach 400 tonnes): transformers for generation, transmission and primary distribution, and transformers for the supply of energy, or transformer modules. - Equipped with a testing room which operates with the most advanced test instruments. All types of routine test are carried out, as well as special and type tests. - Total surface area of 17,000 m 2.
