Super State Unclaimed Property Reporting Date Extension Matrix Virginia November 16, 2012* Washington November 16, 2012* *Virginia will provide a Reporting Extension for Holders in the Northeast affected by Super Storm Sandy: Holder Reports with remittances must be Postmarked No Later than November 16, 2012. *Washington State is supportive of giving Unclaimed Property reporting deadline extensions to holders impacted by the storm. We intend to give 2 week extensions to those who request an extension, and then more time if necessary. To request an extension, holders should call us at 360-570-3264, and select option 4. West Virginia Wisconsin Super State Unclaimed Property Reporting Date Extension Matrix. The extension form is PDF fillable (meaning they can type on it and save to their drive for convenience) and can be submitted via email or fax to me at my contact information below. The extensions are offered in 30, 60 or 90 day increments and can be renewed for the same time limits if the holder is unable to meet the first deadline requested. The best option for the holder to choose in Section 2 under Reason would be other and to type in weather. Once received the holder will receive a confirmation email from me that acknowledges the receipt and acceptance of the extension and lists the new reporting due date. An separate extension for each entity with a separate FEIN number is required. If the holder finds that no property will need to be reported, WV does require a negative report filed on line via our Eholder application in order to remove the outstanding request from the Wagers database (this is noted as a bullet item under the required information at the bottom of the form in bold type.)
