2016-17 LOWER AND MIDDLE SCHOOL DRESS CODE General At school and school-sponsored activities, all students are expected to dress in clean, neat clothes that will not detract from the learning environment or that are appropriate for the activity. Parents and students share responsibility for acceptable student appearance. If any part of a student s uniform (design, color, or pattern) or appearance is distracting or fails to comply with the Dress Code, the School may require that the student rectify the situation before the student may continue with school or the activity. Teachers and other school personnel will assist students in developing an understanding of appropriate appearance at school.
