Welcome to the. You have found the perfect place to have your elegant affair or simple celebration. Lush botanical gardens and winding tropical jungle trails offer a truly unique experience. We look forward to making your day a dream come true! We recommend booking your event at least 90 days in advance. FEES A deposit payment of $100 plus $7.00 or 7% of entire event is required to confirm rental of the facility. The deposit payment serves to hold the contracted date and is applied to the final invoice. Signed contract, check, or credit card for deposit payment fee, plus 7% sales tax is required before date will be put on the schedule. Wedding Rates - Facility Rental Fees DAY OF WEEK Monday-Thursday: $1,400* Friday-Sunday: $1,500* *All rentals are subject to a 7% state sales tax In addition to the agreed upon rental fee and sales tax, a refundable Security/Damage deposit of $500 is required 30 days prior to the wedding. This may be paid by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or personal check. The client(s) forfeit the Security/Damage deposit if any damage occurs to the facility by wedding party or guests. If the damages exceed $500, the client(s) will be billed for the additional amount. Ceremonies cannot exceed the scheduled time on the contract. The refundable security deposit of $500 will be withheld for any hour, or partial thereof, that time exceeded. If no damage occurs during the time the facility is rented the $500 will be refunded within two weeks of the event date. Client(s) understand and agrees with terms on page 1: Page 1

PAYMENTS The payment schedule is as follows: 50% of the payment is due 60 days before the scheduled date. 25% of the payment is due 30 days before the scheduled date. Remaining balance of 25% is due 14 days before the scheduled date. Full payment is required at time of booking if scheduled date is 30 days or less. If the balance due is not received, the Gardens may, without liability, and at the discretion of a representative of the Events Department, cancel the event. A $50.00 charge will be assessed on all returned checks. A minimum of three weeks must be allotted for personal checks to be processed. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS In the event of a cancellation, all fees paid to date are non-refundable including the security deposit. Refunds will not be made due to inclement weather. If ceremony cannot be held on property due to inclement weather, at Sarasota Jungle Garden s discretion, an alternate location within the Gardens, or date may be chosen, based on availability. RESCHEDULING Should the original contracted date be cancelled and rescheduled for a new date (excluding inclement weather on the day of the wedding), a fee of $100 will be applied. This only applies if the cancellation occurs less than one month before the contracted date. Should the original contracted date be rescheduled for a new date, a new contract will be required. DAMAGES The client(s) assume full responsibility for any damages to the facility and grounds, including such caused by any vendor contracted by the client(s) to be on the premises. (florist, musicians, rental company, bridal party, guests, etc.) Complete details on damages listed under Fees on page 1. Client(s) understand and agrees with terms on page 2: Page 2

HOURS Weddings must be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and end by 5:00 p.m. Cleanup must be completed by 5:30 p.m. NOTE: The is open 363 days a year. All areas of the Gardens will be open and animals and daily admission guests may be in the general vicinity for the duration of the wedding ceremony. All guests must vacate the Gardens by 5:00 p.m., which is the closing time. Rehearsals are available at no additional cost. A 2-hour rehearsal time can be held the day before the ceremony and end by 5:00 p.m., based on availability. This must be scheduled in advance with the Events Coordinator. OUTSIDE VENDORS The client(s) are responsible for sharing these policies with all contracted vendors. All vendors must contact the Events Coordinator at least 2 weeks prior to the wedding to review guidelines and do a walk-through, if necessary. Ceremonies are permitted to bring in chairs, wedding arches, carpet runners, tents and/or canopies. These may be set up the day prior. All items must be removed immediately after the ceremony by vendors, family members, and/or other designated parties. Delivery time of these items must be scheduled two weeks in advance with the Events Coordinator. Rentals must not impede visitor walkways or disable visitor ramps at any time. is not responsible for chairs or other items delivered to the facility and left overnight or unattended. ENTERTAINMENT Music may be part of the ceremony as long as it is kept at a low level and cannot be heard outside of the designated wedding area. Battery operated music player is permitted at a reasonable volume. Electrical outlets are located in the Open Gardens and Tiki Gardens. We do not permit amplification of music due to city ordinances. Before beginning sound check, group must notify Events Coordinator on site to ensure there are no cords posing trip hazards and the sound is at a low level. Client(s) understand and agrees with terms on page 3: Page 3

DECORATIONS Balloons may not be used for decoration. Open candle flames are not allowed. No rice, glitter, or confetti is permitted. However, birdseed, flower petals, bubbles and butterflies may be used. Flower petals must be removed at the completion of the ceremony. All decorations, flowers, etc. must be removed by the close/finish of the event. Holes or marks cannot be made in/on gazebo (nails, tacks, and duct tape may not be used to attach decorations.) NOISE ORDINANCE The client(s) and entertainer assume full responsibility for the compliance of Sarasota County Noise Ordinance. Sarasota Jungle Garden s staff will monitor the sound throughout the event and we reserve the right to control the volume of your (the) entertainment at any time. LIABILITY The client(s) shall be responsible for the behavior of all guests in attendance. shall not be held liable for accidents or injuries that should occur to a person attending the event. is not responsible for lost or stolen items. is not responsible for damage to or theft from vehicles while parked on the premises. Children of all ages must be supervised at all times and cannot be unattended. Guests are not allowed to pick any of the flowers or disturb any of the foliage. Bare feet are not allowed on the premises - shoes must be worn at all times. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS All guests must check in with Admissions Desk upon arrival. Events of 75 guests or more will require the client(s) to provide Parking Attendants to direct parking. The maximum number of guests that we can accommodate in the Open Gardens area is 350-400. Upon arrival Parking Attendant must notify on-site Event Coordinator. Client(s) understand and agrees with terms on page 4: Page 4

No alcohol may be brought onto the property or consumed by any member of the event. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the wedding without refund. Animals must not be brought in and are not permitted on the premises at any time (exceptions are made for service animals.) All items: décor, personal belongings, food and beverages brought to the, must be removed at the close/finish of the event. is a smoke-free facility. There are no Bride s Room facilities available. The client(s) assumes full responsibility for the actions of all guests and contracted vendors, including ensuring their compliance of all listed policies. If representatives observe any unsafe, boisterous & disruptive, or illegal activities associated with the event, or any violation of this contract, reserves the right to terminate the event, notify the appropriate law enforcement agency, and/or evict any and/or all guests. The client(s) and their guests agree to hold harmless of any/all liability, which may occur during the rental/use of the facility. Rental of the facility, in no way, authorizes the client(s) complete control of the facility or to override the authority of any representative. is a public facility and will be open for normal business 363 days a year.
