Hospital Directory The hospitals listed on the following pages are grouped together by area for ease of reference. We strongly recommend that your child has treatment in a hospital which is in the Hospital Directory. If you choose to go to a hospital that is not in the Hospital Directory we will only pay the equivalent cost that we would have paid if your child had gone to a hospital in the Hospital Directory. This could leave you with a large shortfall. You will be responsible for paying the difference between the amount we agree to pay and the treatment expenses incurred. Please refer to your Policy Document for more information. Hospitals not included in the directory Any acute NHS hospitals which do not appear in the directory have been omitted purely in the interests of a more concise presentation. We have only included the NHS hospitals which our customers use most frequently (to include all NHS hospitals would make the list very long an difficult to use). If you wish to have treatment at a private hospital which is not included on our list, it may be because the hospital is new, so please contact our helpline - we will be able to tell you whether or not the policy will cover your child s treatment there.
