Planning a presentation before you create it improves the quality of your presentation, makes your presentation more effective and enjoyable, and saves you time and effort. 2. It is also important to remember that if you have already created a presentation you can just click on the PowerPoint file to open the presentation in PowerPoint. 3. he itle Bar contains the Quick ccess oolbar, the title of the document and the capability to minimize, maximize or close the program. 4. he ibbon provides access to commands that are grouped together into tabs according to the tasks you perform in ord. 5. he tabs on the ribbon include file, home, insert, design, transitions, animation, slide show, review, and view. 6. he status bar gives you information related to the document such as slide number, theme and whether or not the computer has found an error in the text. 7. o see the Backstage View, click on the File tab. 8. he ecent option allows you to view recent presentations you have had open in Power- Point as well as recent places you have been on your computer. 9. he first tab is the ome ab. his tab contains the Clipboard, lides, Font, Paragraph, rawing and diting groups. 10. he next tab is the Insert tab. his tab contains the ables, Images, Illustrations, Links, ext, ymbols and Media groups. ccompanies: Microsoft PowerPoint Basics 1
