CLEAR LIQUID OVERFEED Enhanced vapor handling and NPSHR characteristics are central to Cornell s latest liquid overfeed pump innovations. Cornell has incorporated these designs features into our liquid overfeed pumps while maintaining two pole, four pole or six pole operating speed for close-coupled units. Since the introduction of our innovative refrigerant series of high head, low speed pumps, Cornell is working with our customers to address the increasing requirement for ultrareliability and superior performance characteristics. Cornell has You Covered The choice is yours: Cornell also offers hermetic style refrigeration pumps which have operating capabilities and dimensions similar to our standard CB pumps. The HT series is perfect for stable operating systems that have minimal vapor entrainment or cavitation issues. And with Cornell HT Series pumps you still get the advantage of low operating speed, better NPSH, experience, and an industry leading warranty. This configuration allows for unattended monitoring of fluid level and a safety shut down feature. The HT series has an optional shut down feature when packaged with the Hansen Pump Guardian system. The Pump Guardian uses a pressure cutout if the pump starts cavitating. This feature prevents the bearings from running dry by shutting the pump down when cavitation is sensed. ht series - AMMONiA ht series - flourocarbon Ammonia or Fluorocarbon 1000-3600 RPM 1.5HT 2HT 2HTS 2.5HT 3HT

CLEAR LIQUID OVERFEED COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE Cornell Pump Company proudly maintains its ISO 9001:2008 certification which validates that Cornell is in compliance with all necessary processes to meet customer requirements. The elements associated with ISO 9001:2008 certification include such areas as contract review, design and development, production, purchasing, quality control and service. select high EffiCiENCY PUMP MOdELs 8h - 88% EffiCiENt 6Rb - 89% EffiCiENt 5Rb - 86% EffiCiENt 4Rb - 85% EffiCiENt Cornell s refrigeration product group is not limited to liquid overfeed pump applications. Our clear liquid pumps are frequently used in cooling tower, chilled water, glycol, brine, condenser spray tree and many other HVAC applications. Cornell s clear liquid pumps are constructed entirely of iron or cast iron and fitted with bronze components. Many optional metalurgies are also available. Standard features include fully machined impellers, heavy duty shafts with replaceable shaft sleeves, and peripheral wear rings. transfer Pump Applications Cornell s refrigerant pumps are available for use in transfer applications and have been successfully used for compressor oil, liquid transfer systems, and booster pump applications. Whether you require a liquid overfeed or transfer pump, Cornell s engineers and technical sales personnel can provide you with expert application assistance. glycol Pump Applications In many refrigeration applications, secondary coolants such as ethylene and propylene glycols and brines are used as heat transfer media. The glycol or brine is cooled by the primary refrigerant and used to transfer heat without changing state. Cornell s clear liquids handling pumps are commonly used to recirculate these secondary coolants. The clear liquid pumps are rugged, extremely efficient and designed specifically for a long life of service. h-series R-sERiEs

CLEAR LIQUID ENERgY EffiCiENt PUMPs As energy costs rise, conservation and efficiency of operation become critical issues for end users striving to minimize expenses associated with energy consumption. Cornell pumps maintain superb hydraulic operating efficiencies and are coupled with energy efficient motors. The bottom line Cornell pumps cost less to operate. Cornell Pumps are designed to deliver best in class efficiency. Depending on operating hours, fuelant, and horsepower required, you can save up to $3,000 per year (or more) in energy costs. Cornell manufactures more than 60 clear liquid and non-clog pumps that meet or exceed optimum efficiency standards for centrifugal pumps. Combined with our patented-cycloseal back plate technology, the pump is durable, powerful, and energy efficient. THE STX series, unveiled in fall 2012, will eventually encompass more than 20 discharge configurations. The new design builds on our prominence in providing world class pumps, and allows the new STX to operate in extremely heavy duty situations, while increase efficiencies more than XX% of competitors average. Those efficiencies could translate into tens of thousands of dollars saved in fuel and maintenance expenses over the life of the pump. Specially designed removable rotating assembly allows the new Cornell piece to retrofit with other manufactures pumps. Cornell Pump Company Clackamas, OR 97015 USA www.cornellpump.com P: +1 (503) 653-0330 f: +1 (503) 653-0338 The ImmersIble motor ConCepT: Immersible motors are designed to be used in Dry-Pit applications where there is a possibility of flooding. Why take a submersible motor that was designed to run submerged 100% of the time and modify it to run in air 99% (or most of the time) and submerged 1% of the time (in case of a flood)? This seems backwards. The correct approach is to take a TEFC motor that is designed to run in air 100% of the time and adapt it to run submerged 1% of the time (in case of a flood). Immersible Motor Basic design: The basic design of the immersible pump/motor incorporates a premium efficient, inverter duty, P-Base or C-Face TEBC motor (totally enclosed, blower cooled). The motor, as the name implies, is totally enclosed and cooled by a blower on top of the motor. If the motor becomes submerged, the blower motor fan shuts down without affecting the main motor. While the motor is temporarily submerged, the media cools the motor just like a true submersible. A special conduit box is used to prevent water leakage into the motor. The motor is designed to prevent infiltration of water along the shaft and into the motor by utilizing a triple redundant sealing system, including a patented Hydroseal design. The motor-end bell housing incorporates the inverted cup principle, which traps an air bubble under the motor as water rises, thus keeping water away from the shaft seal. The shaft is fitted with a hydroseal, which expells water and further reduces the chance of water reaching the shaft seals. The Immersible motor can withstand up to 30 feet of submergence depth for a two-week period. This exceeds the requirements of Immersible motors that is described in the industry standard Index of Protection IP67. Competive designs only allow immersion of the motor for a period of time not exceeding 30 minutes at a submergence level of 3 feet. Hardly enough time to deal with any kind of flooding emergency! // 16261 SE 130th AVE CLACKAMAS, OR 2013 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED EffiCiENt by design HYDRAULIC FRACTURING MINING PUMPS DESIGNED FOR COARSE ABRASIvES market and product line AGRICULTURE FOOD PROCESS INDUSTRIAL MINING MUNICIPALITIES REFRIGERATION WATER TRANSFER AGRICULTURAL FOOD PROCESS INDUSTRIAL MINE DEWATERING MUNICIPAL REFRIGERATION WATER TRANSFER CHOPPER CUTTER PUMPS END GUN BOOSTER PUMPS HYDRAULIC SUBS HYDRO TURBINE Cornell pump CompAnY IMMERSIBLE MANURE MP SERIES CHOPPER CUTTER EDGE TM HYDRAULIC SUBS HYDRO TURBINE IMMERSIBLE MANURE MP SERIES MX SERIES REDI-PRIME STX SERIES ENhANCEd SELf-PRiMiNg PUMPS CORNELL COMPANY SLURRY PUMPS SUBMERSIBLES EFFICIENT.
