Porcelain is a ceramic material produced by heating clay and other minerals to temperatures of between 1200 C -1400 C. This results in a product with exceptional strength & hardness, high resistance to staining and water absorption of less than 0.5%. Stoneware is a specific type of porcelain manufactured using specialized clays and firing techniques.
