Example: Situation # 1 The CRNA, Sally, brought a patient to PACU and began giving a verbal report before the PACU RN could place the patient on the monitor. When the RN informed Sally that she should wait until the RN was ready for the report, Sally kept talking. The anesthesia provider, Dr. Rush, is in a hurry to start the case, so he brings the patient to the room. Dr. Rush wants to proceed with induction to avoid further delay.
